My uncle was paralyzed flying one of these in the early days of handgliding ...sudden up draft flipped his rig and he fell 500 ft. Into a farmers feet....so beware...at least do it over water ...lol
No, The pressure would be high if u fall from a high place into water it would be like u hitting a concrete. You need to do the X shape if u lose grip thats if u wanna make your fall slow and the n Shape if u wanna go forward also if u lose grip. You need to find a swamp to fall in or snow or a tree cause hitting water would instanly go from idk how much km/h to 0km/h whereas the places i mentioned would slowly make it go to 0km/h u need to protect your head too to survive.
@@Michael_Storenn You must not be very bright if you think a swamp (water) or snow (water) would hurt less than hitting water.
And the concrete thing isn't exactly true. It's true that it probably doesn't matter if it's water or concrete, because you are likely to die either way, but concrete is much harder with zero give, so it will always be harder than water, even if water feels hard at a certain speed.
And even if it's not enough to save you, surface tension of water can be broken.

This device is not safe at all. It's too small and you attach yourself to it by just hanging on, no harness. 😱🤪🤕

I used to do this with big cardboard boxes. I would open them so they would be flat. I was light as a kid and I would jump off a slanted hill on windy days and catch about 5 seconds of air it was an amazing feeling.
