Scamming Kids on Xbox. It’s been happening a lot recently. At least, that’s what I’ve noticed after going into the Looking for Groups on Xbox, and seeing many kids posting about getting scammed on Fortnite mostly. I hate nothing more than scammers, especially on Xbox. Whether it involves money or not, it’s still scamming, and it really gets to me how Xbox Enforcement doesn’t actively do anything about it. Despite scamming being a big violation to Xbox ToS and Code of Conduct. It’s more effective to simply talk about it and spread the message, rather than relying on the Xbox Enforcement team to crack down on it. The most common scam on Xbox (biggest scam on Xbox) is where two players go into a game (Fortnite), and trade items with each other.
Trading is allowed on Fortnite and encouraged for players to meet and play with each other. But people abuse it by tricking a player into dropping their in-game inventory (loot) so the scammer can pick it up, and then leave the game, which results in the player getting scammed. This mostly does not involve money, but it’s still scamming. And a lot of players put hours into the game to earn the loot or use real money to buy it. It is still scamming. And it’s very common to see victims posting about it on Looking for Groups when in reality, it’s too late to do anything about it. I usually request evidence in these situations but no evidence exists most of the time, as the victim didn’t plan on getting scammed. But I really hate seeing players get scammed and see the scammers get away because Xbox Enforcement doesn’t ban them for anything.
I’ve had players post on Looking for Groups, asking for people to DDoS their scammers. Obviously, no one should encourage this. But it definitely shows how this affects the victim and how frustrating it is to get scammed on Xbox. In this situation, the alleged scammer I attempted to get in contact with knew who I was. He knew I call out scammers on Xbox, yet he himself was being accused of scamming. Really is shocking that you feel you may inspire someone, but they end up doing the opposite of what you try to convey. We all have our opinions on what’s right and what’s wrong on Xbox. But any sane person would completely agree that scammers are the worst and they need to go.

The main video aside, how do you manage to stay alive in that hellscape of a game? I can barely play for at least 10 seconds without being brutally attacked by some guy with a glowing gun running around like he’s in a marathon. Now I don’t play anymore FPS games because of that.
It’s mostly luck because I sometimes get good teammates that keep the enemy pretty busy for me to make my move. 😂

It’s been going on for years, yet Epic Games has done nothing about it, the most sad part about it is some scammers who are kids have been exposed and put on RUclips for trying to scam the RUclipsr so the said RUclipsr could get views and subscribers

If it’s in a private game, have fun. No one should mind if people are modding private games for fun.

Fun fact!: there are videos of people scamming on STW and also the weapons in STW ARE WORTH REAL MONEY like REAL FUCKIN MONEY

This is mainly a problem with epic since they don't update STW anymore

Hey man, you might get this a lot but I just recently got banned on xbox for no reason. I been playing cod recently and it gets toxic sometimes but i think i got banned from a bot spam. I already sent an appeal but is there any chance i can get my main account back? All my progress and games I bought all gone
The only way to do that is to submit an appeal for the main account. If the appeal gets rejected, then nothing can be done. :(

4:21 Giving scammers an immediate console ban would be a bad idea because then they could just sell the console on eBay and scam someone with it that alone is the reason why I think console bans are too far as it just generates e-waste and scams
Ngl this was a huge problem when stw first dropped. There was a global chat, so yuhh pretty major L on eg so they removed it especially on the Playstation platform there was a thing called community's fortnite had one obviously, but people used to post their fortnite accounts on it and "sell" it, in reality you would send them a $20 psn gift card and then you'd never see em again💀🙏

Thanks! If you were booted, your network should generally be back in around 20 minutes. Really depends on the attack.
These same scams exists on GTA - for modded vehicles , and Roblox. Caught my nephew doing it on of my accounts. He was banned for 7 days, but the reason was for harassment rather than for scamming, xbox is smart.

Maybe change internet providers or ask them to get you a dynamic IP address.

Also another thing to mention is that Microsoft bans you so they can get attention and just wants you to give them consumers 💀

Use Microsoft’s recovery system. Not much you can do about the ban though. :(
Yea best way to avoid being scammed is simply dont respond to anyone you dont know. A quick reference to one of Sacramento's videos with the rich entitle minded punk who his parents taught him to be like that this is the exact defining point that should prevent u from doing this otherwise its your fault. I know plenty of kids who play with their friends or have someone its because they talk to people and get to know them in person so u really have no excuses, how do I know? What I just said references what my teenage nephew does.
how do you expect from them to stop criminals when they are an elite criminals level it means that even if they steal no one is gonna do anything about it for them your ownership is a joke of a mid air.

On fortnite or whatever that game is call, they are to lazy to get the stuff theirself, they are over maybe up to 100 or 200 or more that scam on fortnite a day.
Stw is such a great game and I don't trade because 99% of the times people scam. Also even if a player is 130 or higher they can still scam just don't trade ever
