A Butter X Megan Thee Stallion collab is dropping this Friday!!!!!! Megan's label been trying to block the release but the court has ruled that she is able to release it. BTS has been helping Megan with her court battle.
BE is a very special album because it's the first album that they really were part of everything, deciding the concept of the concept photos, directing, projecting everything, and it's something they wanted to do since the beginning!! So it's really amazing that they finally could do it, and it turned out amazing!!
And yes, all this footage are from lives because they shared everything with us!!

The video for Life Goes On was entirely directed by JK and there's a behind the scene episode of the shooting on their channel. It would be cool for you to rewatch the video and watch the behind the scenes. It's cool to see JK actually filming and directing the guys.
Hi ! Most of the footages here were from livestreaming, so yep before the labum was release, we followed them step by step with this one. And if you want dive deeper in the production of BE, there is some "inerviews" with each member is interviewed by another member ^^
It's so great, it's interview like you want to see it, very interesting, and they talk mostly about BE in it . They are on BangtanTV, called "BE-hind the story", and each video is about 20minutes but it worth it ! :D

18:28 in the BE-hind story interview thing yoongi especially praised jimin and taehyung for working so hard and being so involved. i'm so proud of all of them because this album is really their baby and it makes it more special that this is something they always wanted to do in their career. taehyung was also involved in the scheduling of the photoshoots and the members were really thankful how freeing it was. he did it so well that jungkook wants him to be responsible for it all the time now hahaha.
but they chose food instead on one RUN episode 😂
I've commented this before and i'll comment it again lmao. If you guys are really interested in behind-the-scenes video of their contents, i strongly recommend you to watch their docu-series, burn the stage, bring the soul and break the silence in those respective orders. I'd be more than happy to watch yall react to these series on this channel as i really like it when you guys talk about this type of content.
so glad you reacted to this!! yeah this was all from before the album was out and from their youtube lives. i love content like this too because you can see how the members know each others' strengths and how encouraging they are with each others' ideas. in the first meeting with namjoon jhope and tae, taehyung really wanted to have jungkook involved in the directing and he's always encouraged him this way (crying bc jk said tae bought him out of his shell) and then jhope was concerned that jungkook would have too much pressure on himself so they took that into consideration too. it's the small things like this that make their bond so precious. i recommend BTS' BE-hind story to watch in your own time (since it's kind of long) if you want to know more about the behind stuff it was really interesting and funny lol
Bts and their CEO have always had the goal of making a self-produced albums.
Yes yes, all of this was before the album came out!! They even did an unboxing before the album came out, i was so shook, still to this day i think it was leaked and nobody noticed because idk is so crazy to think about 😂

Tae is very visually inclined. However he kind of mixes in his own unique perspectives with what he views, unlike Jungkook who's a more "see for what it is" kind of person. You can see that in the difference between their arts too. Tae is more abstract with his art.

That hat guy was Jungkook and also who was jumping on the chair is also Jungkook producing music ...and the whole life goes on mv was directed by Jungkook... and also all the mvs version of life goes on was directed by Jungkook
May I just say Waleska looks absolutely GORGEOUS the hair, makeup, nails, outfit EVERYTHING is on point you go girl!
i agree with you about jungkook and tae being very visual people! whenever they have visual projects i feel like the members encourage them especially cuz of tae's unqiue creative ideas and jungkook's skill/technique. and i feel like you can definitely tell from their lyricism. i feel like all of them are to an extent especially in the dancing sense, but for example yoongi has said he's a very auditory person which makes sense given how attuned he is in his producing (the painting he did lives in my mind rent free though). it's funny cuz today's run bts ep was on interior designing and you could see how they approach visuals in their own ways (everyone avoiding jin's team was cracking me up). yoongi was especially nice to see since he wanted to be an architect and loves interior designing. anyway, things that come to mind are taehyung learning jungkook's begin choreo for fun so quickly (i think he did it in minutes which honestly does not surprise me since he remembers choreos really well), jimin learning taehyung's MMA 2018 intro choreo just from sitting next to him and watching him whenever they did rehearsals, all of them relearning their choreos from watching their old practice videos and when they were asked for a creative idea when they were on the news and they all turned to taehyung lol.
i also find it interesting how they differ when they're learning their choreographies. from the tonnes of rehearsal dvds they've released i feel like jungkook tends to learn by practicing as if he is actually performing it whereas other members like tae often "mark" their dances (a dancing term for going through the choreo in a minimised way to get the speed and timing right which is possibly why he is so good at remembering them). obviously all the members mark their dances a lot as we've seen in the rehearsal footage because rehearsing full out all the time would be a pain and it's how you reserve your energy but it's just interesting to see the way how each of them remember things best. in this case, they're both visually oriented though differently and you can see how effective each of their ways is for both of them because they both EXPLODE on stage.

they've all mentioned wanting to make a whole album since early days (and it's not because they weren't allowed to that they didn't but for their own reasons) and there was even one award speech (MAMA 2018 japan) where jungkook said he wanted to make an MV like gcf and taehyung said that he'd take the pictures for that album. their dreams came true 🥺😭
Actually Efra is absolutely right...V is known as the Fashion king. He comes right along with GD among the Idols with the best fashion ..even 300+ Proffesionals voted him as the #1 fashion icon via trendrr...and he has been winning the Man in Fashion title for three years in a row...and even celebs have revealed how they save V's airport pics and other pics to wear the same kind of style. While jhope bis more street style and doens't experiment much, V on the other hand is keen on experimentation...and as you know fashion is all about experimentimg. He is more classic orientated and gender neutral when it comes to dressing up...and he customises...he can literally rock every single style. As Vogue said V is the most Fashion forward idol.
Can you pls check out " The Rise of Bangtan". Every episode are so informative, you'll probably like the documentary of their journey from the start until today.
They released content leading up to the release of the album and mv. It was a way for us to see the process unfold and get excited for it. Later, when the album came out, they did a special "talk" where they discussed the process in depth, about what each member did, what were some of the trickier things, etc. I absolutely LOVE when Bts talks about the creative process and shows us this kind of stuff. Sure, the company is involved, but they definitely have more license than a lot of other artists out there (kpop AND western).

every single member in bts is very creative and artistic, and all of their asthetics is so different from each other, so they together as a group and as individual stands out. they all such talented people 💗
If you like behind the scenes about work and music Stray Kids would be a good choice. Because they have worked on every music in their discographie from pre-debut until now and often share videos of the process and their work. It's really interresting and fun to watch. Their dynamic is really unique and informative on how it's work behind the cameras.

I love that with the BE album the vocal line really stepped up on the forefront of the vision and management of the project because its a given that the rapline would be most hands-on in the composing/producing part.
BTS are usually very very involved in the music aspect but BE was the first time they self directed a project, not only music wise but when it comes to concept, the album cover (what goes inside the album too) the promo photos, the MV, they were involved in all of those aspects

Because you like watching and getting to know about BTS music making i thought to recommend you these three videos.
1. Producer DJ Swivel, co produced “euphoria” and he talks about the evolution of the song in an university lecture. He goes trough many tracks and layers of the song!! Its a bit long (1h) but interesting for people who like to make music.
2. Suga shows his machine mixing and sampling he used for example in “ON”. Its really great to see how Suga works in his own words. Its short (5min)! I wish it was longer. :D

3. BTS “ON” Commentary film: dialogue. Its on their bangtantv channel :)
It show the involvement of the marching band/brass band and choir in the producing of ON and other songs over the last years. And it so nice to hear some of the statements of the musicians about BTS music!
I don’t know if these are suitable for reaction videos but maybe for your own interest. If you haven’t seen these i hope you enjoy them!

Idk if you guys have watched it but RUclips originals actually came out with a documentary series called Kpop Evolution(correct me if I’m wrong) where they talk to first and fourth gen idols. Although it is very SM heavy in terms or artists interviews I still found it very educational. They talk about not only the evolution of kpop but also how it started and some of the inner workings of it too.

I think they've always had freedom in making and writing whatever they want except that the final decision is made discussing with the company with the pool of songs they've created. So it's always been similar to what you see in the video except this time they're deciding visuals/music videos too.
bts is definitely the kpop group with the most creative freedom (if we can still call them a kpop group honestly)

Yes they ´posted these video before the comeback so it felt really different but still so excited because you felt like involved in the process and wondered if they did exactly what they mentioned and how would be the ending result. It was pretty fun and interesting 🙌🏻💜
Fun fact: Jungkook really directed Life goes on MV and Hobi really spoiled Dis-ease in a RUclips live because we could hear the song from his headphones because that was loud af until the staff knocked the door and told him, so he cursed and then stopped the music lmao 😂
we followed the creative process of BE all throughout the late spring, summer of 2020, right up to the release of the album. bts livestreamed shorter/longer videos like the ones you saw in the small compilation of them working on and discussing BE. it was really cool to be a part of it all. funny fact, i remember after one of their meetings they livestreamed, tae said he hoped armys wrote down keypoints from it because he didn't write it all down.. and then someone on weverse sent him the keypoints and he thanked them😭😭
