    Thank you for the great video!👍🏻 Consumption on highway speeds are way too high when you need drive much on highways like me. My Renault Kadjar 2022, 1.5 dci/edc consumes about the same 5.5 litres in city, 3.5 litres on 90km/h, 5,2 litres on 120km/h, 6-6.5 litres on 140km/h.(consumptions are on cruise control).

    Hello. I have a Nissan X-trail E Power, no e4orce, and the consumption in my first 1000 km is not so bad. Currently IT appears 6,8 on my dashboard. I've drivven it about 50/50 of the time în city and highway /national roads, with a top speed of 120 km/h. From what I've seen, at 120 km/h, the consumption in 'Standard' and 'Eco' mode was around 7,1-7,5 l/100 km(not bad), 😊😊, but, surprisingly, în 'Sport' mode, was between 6,6 and 7,1 l/100 km😮😮😮. In a small city, with lots of hills and descents, It usually takes between 4,4 and 8,6 l/100 km. So, my 6.8 average so far it's a decent one , considering the vehicul mass and (still) low temperatures.

    • @1001cars
      @1001cars  Год назад

      6,8 l/100 km is 100% expected result from 50/50 (city/suburban also with highway) driving (5.x in a city makes the difference). The consumption on highway does not depend on the driving mode until of course the measured distance is too short (different final consumption of the energy from the battery). What distance and what avg. speed did you have from the highway driving? Did you make it in both ways on one measurement?

    • @dopceaalexandru7961
      @dopceaalexandru7961 Год назад

      @@1001cars, the distante on highway was around 100 km and 120 was my speed on Cruise control, so, i suppose The average was close to that.

    • @1001cars
      @1001cars  Год назад +1

      I understand :) The best way is to send the photo of such result with the info if it was in one or both directions :) Because the target speed does not mean avg. speed. It is extremely difficult to achieve similar avg. speed to target speed during the day. Usually it is more like 90-100 km/h when the set speed is 120 km/h. Other thing is of course the difference between tacho and GPS speed.

    I'm very courious if the 2WD version (regular e-power without e-4force) is more effective in fuel consumption. This car is really a good choice in his class. The way it rides can may make up for the slightly higher fuel consumption.

      9,0 instead of 6,7 at 120 kmh

    Thank you for listing the graph to campare the competitors, awsome video!
    Nissan e-Power seems more reasonable when driving in town, but on highway, it could give us an option, for example, adding a single gear transmission to let ICE drives the car. A lot of Chinese car company already developed this kind of hybrid system, which can give a balanced city/highway fuel consumption.
    I live in China, so when considering this segment I could have more options. But nowadays in China, if you want buy a plug-in hybrid or an EV car, you could only be registrated with a new Green Plate. My parents hate EV and want the new car using a hybrid system that can be registrated with a old Blue Plate (most petrol car use this). Current Chinese hybrid car are all using plug-in so they can't use Blue Plate.
    e-Power seems to be the only option in this class. Why not Toyota? Cuz' my mom rather buy a Lexus that a Toyota, and Lexus in China is much more expensive.
    Nissan can help me get rid of the EV milage anxiety when cruising down highway, but highway fuel cunsumption looks pretty bad. What a Joke!

    • @ONE1_tw
      @ONE1_tw Год назад

      Electric cars have a limitation where their electric motors cannot leverage inertia for energy efficiency like gasoline cars can at high speeds. Instead, electric motors tend to consume more energy as the speed increases.
      This limitation also applies to ePower, which utilizes motor drive. The 2WD version outperforms e-4ORCE in terms of high-speed performance.
      If the 4WD version could be programmed to switch and operate with two-wheel drive during high-speed cruising, potentially achieving a similar effect.

    • @1001cars

      The outside temperature is visible all the time on the dash :) When we talk about electric cars, they have to use energy from the battery to heat the cabin and the battery itself so yes, they use a little bit more energy during the winter time, but X-Trail is not electric car.
