The guy at the 1159 mark is really nice both him and his daughter. They go to a lot of conventions including a smaller one in Michigan. I have talked to him a lot real nice guy fun to talk with.
I agree with another commenter worst comic con ever! You actually film me with the She Hulk as I was walking out. Was the highlight of the show meeting both of you! Wish there was a way they would have disclosed that none of the big dealers were going to be there! I’m glad you both found something you guys truly bring a lot of exuberance to the hobby! Congrats on the Daredevil #7. I often find the books come to me when the stars align, and I can find something I really want. The first Daredevil story I ever read was issue #163 where Daredevil takes on the Hulk. Even though he has no chance of winning the fight, Daredevil still takes the Hulk on anyway. It gave a real sense of the hero in the character. Later on the Frank Miller Elektra run left a big impact also.
Great haul in this one. So many crossover talents in those books. Some legendary creators. Of course John Byrne did the first eight issues on the "Sensational" She-Hulk and the ASM #189, my first comic. :) . Joe Rubinstein is still pretty active, still taking commissions.

Big ups to Sigma comics for giving light to the serious issue of animal abuse...more comics need to do this in their own way

Guy in the thumbnail was super nice. I was trying to trade some books at the con for the first time and he went through and gave me his advice on what the grading was on my Uncanny X-Men #266 lol. I ended up getting 1st appearance Jigsaw from him. Had a nice talk with me and was willing to give newer collectors like me his time and opinion on the ins and outs of the the hobby lmao

I wish I had the patience to buy some of the low cost books you guys do and people like Mint-Hunter Comics. Buying books for a $1 at like flea markets to flip for maybe $5-$10 online, but presumably waiting a good amount of time for a sale. Just can't do it lol. More power to you though!

Love the ASM books. Really like the Daredevil #7. The One that stands out for me is the She-Hulk Vol 2 #1. Not sure if this recombination is a key book but.... Marvel graphic novel She-Hulk. At the end of the story Reed Richard tells her that she wouldn't be able to change back to Jennifer Walters ever again.
great grabs you two! im newish to the comic seen. started as a kid and then stopped collecting as a teen. getting back into it. you seem to know what keys and books you are looking for. any advice there in hunting?
Thanks! I would suggest trying to focus on one character and publisher from a certain era and work from there. Do you enjoy modern variants and keys or do you enjoy the older books? I started by learning about Spiderman, daredevil & Batman and continued to grow my knowledge off those characters and titles. Hope that helps. 😁👍
There used to be a lot more comic book dealers at this con in years past. You even had national comic book dealers like Dale Robert’s and Harley Yee. I was able to pick up some nice books though. I think Shatner bring there saved the show. The promoters need to get more comic book dealers and artists.
The worst comic con I've ever been too. I think there were like 5 comic book dealers, there were more candy sellers there than dealers.

Just starting into comics. I own zero comics right now (the past 10 years for me has been mostly stocks, but getting bored of them and want to collect something fun, just as a hobby). If I were looking to spend about 2k a month on comics (for example), is it better to save for several months and buy 1 big comic for 10-20 k or just buy 1 comic per month around 2k each in lower condition ? looking mostly for silver age comics, dc and marvel. Or is this just a matter personal preference? thanks in advance to anyone who replies 😀

Now that the cons are going you are seeing that most of these books are not that rare…real in-person prices vs the inflated pandemic covid comic bubble prices.

Great but Superb Comic Haul including the following three Comic Books I still have they are:1. Sensational She-Hulk(1st series)#1(1989),2.Savage She-Hulk(1st series)#25(1981),3.Venom Lethal Protector(1st limited, mini-series)#1(of)6(1993), and 4.West Coast Avengers(1st series)#1(1985), also Tampa Con 2022 was not only superb,but also very good, both the Tour and Walkthrough around TAMPA Con was outstanding, The Comic Books/Graphic Novels Bin are superb,The Action Figures and Toys are remarkable and the Vintage Toys and Action Figures are Incredible The Action Figures/Toys Booths are awesome The Actors and Actresses at TampaCon 2022 was terrific,The Comic Book Artists are superb,The Comic Book Artists booths are outstanding, The Comic Books Booths are remarkable,The Owners of the booth are very friendly, and the Collectibles are excellent,also the DVD's are very impressive, also The autographs are quite amazing, Also The Cosplay are Spectacular, also Thank you Angelo and you too Sarah keep up the great work stay strong, and have a nice day.🙂👍✌️🦸💪

25 for lethal protector? a book that was printed in the hundreds of thousands 25 dollars? that was the only one well spider-man #1 by mcfarlane also was the ones that really seemed so expensive because they were printed in the 6 figures but anyway very nice books you guys got.
