That Avengers issue you grabbed and put back at 8:24 was the first Marvel comic I got off the rack in 1974. I also had the King Kong book at 25:59 as a kid.
I'm sure that on the way to this con and all the comic shops they stopped at, those $20 books half off are a great price in comparison. I sense a little negativity reading some of these comments about Angelos' buying habits and the books he was picking out, But hey! Buy what you like! Nothing more exciting than seeing books you want at affordable prices. I really wanted to see them go to the Frazetta museum set-up. I think they mentioned they were going to, before they ran into those 50% books. I will be 😊watching the next videos because they are enjoyable 28:35 to watch at these cons!
I collect comics from the 80s and early 90s to read and look at the art and i injoy the advertisment that i grew up with condition really doesn't matter to me if my kids can get something for them when am gone great. I injoy your video peace

War Is Hell #1 - #8 reprint some good war stories including Sgt. Fury and pre-Code material; from #9 it's excellent new stories written by Claremont that examine the nature and impact of war - a very under-recognised series. That was a Whitman King Kong reprint: rare. The other thing you need to bring to Heroes Con, apart from funds, is a strong will: seeing all those $10 comics, I'd want to grab every Silver Age book I came across.

It is really very unclear if the half prices now $ 10 books are FMV, cheap or expensive. The condition of the books will tell you. Why not check this thoroughly (and show us...) instead of buying in a frenzy sort of FOMO mood. I would suggest to buy less and look for quality..

Most of the books he showed won’t sell. Way to pricey for a con and he would need to sell at an auction house to have a chance to move them. Most dealers use these as window dressing to try and draw interest. Plus that dealer doesn’t seem like he wants to make deals. He was jacking up the price of the Spidey 129 even after he originally priced it.

Angelo, your excitement is fantastic but your focus is non-existent. I get it though, more stuff for your house sales. It's just a tad anxiety inducing to watch you grab and pull every other book 😮 Entertaining either way.
