Ok.... this was good. Finally a short film that’s not centered around the country’s homophobia but actually portraying the reality of true queer love that goes on behind the public. Cinematography, sound quality, soundtrack, lighting, color grade... literally everything was on point. Intend on working on films like this.

We as Black men are so homophobic that we undermine our own humanness and passion for life in all that it has to offer. This gives me hope for us to learn how to stand in our truth. More films of this quality please.
A very tender and caring movie....I loved the language, the positive energy between the two and the fact that they were not cast as stereotypical roles of top/bottom, just two masculine Black men. It's great to see this as a Black American mature man. Something we do not see here in the US hardly ever. Kudos...job well done....would love to see more positive productions like this!

There's no overlay of racism. No white character tossed in randomly. No mandatory white boyfriend. No "BBC" stereotype. No "thug" stereotype. Yeah, it felt refreshing. Sad that not having these things in a film is refreshing.

On a serious note, great story, cast and acting. Simply delivered, no unnecessary drama, yet sends the right message across. Decent too. I could actually watch this with family.
I'm also glad the plot twist I wanted happened. Which is, the straight guy developing genuine feelings for another human being and going for his heart. Rather than the cliche gay guy going out of his way and being obnoxious to try and convert the straight guy. Which by the way, usually ends up terribly.
When people are caring and genuinely kind to each other, most things fall into place, including; LOVE.
He was only ambiguously "straight." Women could never connect to him. He was clearly open to being with a man. It wasn't a straight transformation.

While Tobe's portrayal could use a smidge more polish, there's no denying he has a certain...appealing fortitude (think "fine wine" rather than "freshly squeezed").
The script was refreshingly organic, avoiding the pitfalls of forced synergy. The ending left a powerful "wait, what?!" moment that had me grinning and eager for more. And let's not forget the directing - a subtle nod to the actors' dedication to their craft, shall we say?
Overall, a delightful watch with a touch of mystery and a whole lot of heart. It's a reminder that love (and well-defined biceps) can truly conquer all.

Cool movie, nice story and love the gay romance suspense, glad we are having a real narrative of being a gay man or woman. It’s definitely not about sex but about love. And the acting could be better, more natural but I must commend the actors especially Tobi when it came to the romance chemistry scenes he was so on point and natural and alluring.
