I’ve been waiting 6 months for an ultrasound to see if this is what I have. I’m down to about 20% use of my left arm and the pain is excruciating. Even using that arm to open a light door sends me through the roof. Having Ehlers Danlos syndrome doesn’t help. I can’t even get my arm more than 6 inches away from my torso...it’s getting old 😑
Going back and forth between the Ortho Surgeon and Shoulder Specialist. I think its a Rotator Cuff tear even though I have 3 herniated cervical disc. So tired of being in pain while they throw me back and forth. Do the DAMN MRI Mr. Shoulder Specialist. This is a great video.
My right arm.has been bad since Feb of this yr ,told my pain management np ,she had me get it mri ed .but then did no follow up .pain in arm.has gotten worse ,especially at night .think the video mucleshas gotten torn doing PT
Insurance company say my symptoms aren't drastic enough for me to gave surgery. Would it be advisable for me to take a transporter position? I just had a hip and knee replacement hip feels fine knee not so much. What would you advise. I am always in pain, but I have to work.
Dear Doctor, I have pain in my right shoulder since last 3 months due to playing of cricket but in xray nothing seems like dislocation or fracture. Is it rotator cuff injury? And how long it take time to heal naturally. Please guide me I will be very thankful to you.
ive had a cuff torn for 4 or 5 years now! my arm was jelly for a whole year. cant if i flexs it hurts like hell and sounds like a crunching bag of chips! Still havent had it looked at because of having to pay for a MRI and my job doesn't give health insurance. scratching my back hurts and holding my arm out to the side. how much would all this cost if i had to pay for it out of pocket?
@Ethan Glunt I do have insurance and my out of pocket was $380. My insurance paid the rest $1600. And thankfully the MRI people let me pay that amt in payments. Good luck to you, hopefully you can get it looked at because living like that's no fun.
I can't lift my arm overhead, it's gotten worse over the past few months. I've managed to do it a few times but it HURTS severely and practically falls down on it's own. I had an xray and go back neck month for an MRI. The steroid injection helped for about 3 months. I'm super upset. 😪 I've already been through spine surgery and I'm 35.
My shoulder hurts after I wake up in the morning and hurts with specific movements and especially in the morning, but I can still move t normally so should I go to the doctors?
Thank you so much for this video. I just scheduled for my surgery but this video made it make a lot of sense for me. Excellent instructions!!! Just curious about the nerve block that I am to receive. I have never had surgery before.
@@lashondahursey6116 HI, I'm good! Thanks! As you can see my surgery was 8 years ago, but it all went well. Funny seeing you today because my left shoulder is showing the signs right now.
Rotator cuff in both my arms are bad. But, the right one is terribly painful. I think it’s torn completely. The pain is in the anterior part if the upper arm, but it hurts down to my elbow and down my forearm and into my hand also. My right arm has become very weak. It hurts SO very badly at night.
thank you for your thorough and demonstrative explanation. i am scheduled for surgery and you have assured that surgery is necessary. how do i increase blood to this area after surgery?
i just had a rotator cuff operation in April. I had what was called a slap tare. However, the pain got worse the longer I waited. I am still not fully recovered but I do go to the gym and lift light weight with it. If any one has any question I will be happy to post some vids on what workouts i am doing and/or did before I had my operation.
Patient well I ask can I get something for the pain and the doctor will say well all I can give you some Motrin and the patient will say hi to consume what's Motrin that is upsetting my stomach terribly and the doctor will say well that's all I can give you and a patient will say well I can't get nothing Little Bit Stronger until I see the orthopedist for surgery and the doctor will say no I'm afraid not just suck it up and take an aspirin when you get home and try to put ice on it and don't move it yet they don't understand you have to get up and go to work and make that money Thank you for all the doctors that old prescribed Vicodin and whatnot and all the drug addicts out there who enjoyed crushing pills up and snorting them and moving on heroin all of us out there that have pain and need surgery thank you
Doctors are in tricky positions tho. A LOT of people who end up addicting do so accidentally because a doctor prescribes them narcotics. Doctors are in tricky positions so honestly I guess it just depends on how much your doctor trusts you or not. I hate that too but at the same time I understand.
*If torn, just do the program in **_Treat Your Own Rotator Cuff_** at Amazon.*
