I was born in the 50's , grew up in the 60's & 70's and I totally love this collection! Thanks for sharing your old photos. I can relate to those TV trays for sure!
This is a really cute line, Dana. I think you are very creative and I’ve really enjoyed your how-to videos over the years and I find myself going back to some of your older tried and true videos. Today I went back and reviewed your video showing how to make pillows with the corded piping. Thank you for all those creative videos.
Aw thank you Pavla! Yes, you can order FIGO fabrics in some shops in Europe. You can look at FIGOfabrics.com and look at their store locator to find shops that carry their fabrics. AND check on etsy.com here in the US. Maybe shops carry my fabrics and will offer international shipping.
These are so cute but I always have trouble figuring out what to make with printed fabric like this bc it doesn’t seem to go with anything 😢 any ideas?
Oh really? You can make so many things! I have an easy video for a bag here on my channel. The large prints here would make a cute bag....skirt, quilts, pot holder, hat, shorts, zipper pouch. My channel has videos for a lot of those projects! :) - Dana
this felt more like the inspiration process than the design process. i'm trying to learn design and invest in my art full time, and i was hoping this was actually about like, start to finish, how you actually design a repeating pattern and then what metrics you look at to choose printers and fabric type and how you go about the practical steps to getting it done. if you did a video like that i'd love to watch it (maybe you already have).
Sorry about that. Yes, this video does show a lot of inspiration process, but also how I draw some of my images, the puzzle of putting the different scale of prints together, etc. Sorry it's not as detailed on the Adobe Illustrator process. Maybe in another video! Thanks for watching
Yesssss!!! She’s back!!! 🎉🥰💙 Can’t wait for more videos!!
Haha. Thanks Mary!
It’s so wonderful to see you in videos again! You inspired me to sew small projects. Thank you! Your fabric designs are beautiful!

This is a fun fabric collection. Thanks for sharing. I will have to see if I can find this collection at my local quilt store.
Thanks Carla! If your local shop doesn't carry the collection (or any FIGO fabrics), ask them to reach out to FIGO and they can order from them!
