Thanks for explaining a lot of this. I have always wanted to get this started. I do sell on Zazzle but they give you so little money it's not even worth your time. I have been a graphic artist for years but have never gotten myself started on this. I think it's time to get it set up! I just want to say, as a previous store owner, I can tell the information you are giving here is priceless. Most people don't understand that you are giving them the tools to be successful. There is a lot of really good information here for those who have a dream and are willing to learn to succeed. Much appreciated.
Hi. Great video and well explained. Two questions: 1. Seller Centrail listings must be different from Merch on Demand listing? 2. And it’s possible to sell y shirts on boths platforms?
Great info Ryan.. Thank alot. just if you made one more video in depth on costing or price calculation topic on both printful and Amazon will be a memorable and helpful for me always. also, another video i request you to make about the Retunr policy and how retrun pcick up is handled on amazon by printful and their T & C about this. Many Thanks.
Do you have a greater chance of getting approved on Amazon Merch if you answer the “What do you plan to sell” question with trending designs . I know you don’t have direct answer but just wondering . They never approve me 😢
Hey Ryan! I just got my rejection email from MbA today. Bummer, but expected. So, I immediately searched your channel for Amazon Seller Central videos, and this is the first one I watched. As always, I thank you for your information. I'm still reluctant to join ASC. First, because of the customer service I have to handle myself, and second, because of the upfront costs for Printful (of course, I'll use your link 😉). I've got a few thousand euros coming in next month, though, so I might (will) take the plunge. Anyway, thanks again, mate! Oh, I'm not giving up on MbA. Any idea how long I should wait before re-applying? 😉
Forget it, it was easy to complete. Go to: sellercentral.amazon.com/gtinx/browser, you must be logged into your Amazon Seller account to access that page. Enter the categories you wish to apply - I chose Home & Garden, Clothing & Jewelry, use Generic for the brand name (I read that you must use a capital G for Generic). Click "Check for Eligibility", and I was instantly approved. For GearBubble, it says that you must list your Shop Name as "Generic" (must be a capital G), when creating a listing. Not sure if that applies to Printful and other POD's.
how do you handle the money side of this, when you’re waiting for amazon to pay. i would imagine when there’s a lot of purchases there’s a loan or some sort of money you have liquid. thanks for any advice there
Hi, when you connect printful to seller central did you find you didn't win the buy box though when selling your t shirts that were connected through printful? as i made a design on printful and linked it to my seller central but mine isn't winning the buy box
hi Ryan if an individual returns a product because they are not happy with the item on amazon seller central, do you get reimbursed from Amazon or Printful or do you lose out the money on what you paid for the sale? Can you do a video to talk more about returns in 2021? Thanks
@RyanHoguePassiveIncome Would you please tell how many fulfillment company( Printful, printify, GearBubble) I can connect/use under a seller central account?
hey, very informative video.. I wanted to know, when signing up for seller central, should I already have a business entity set up b/c it states if I sign up as an individual I can't go back to change it to a business account .
I beat the GTIN problem. seems now they require to set your brand to "GENERIC" or else it won't push to Amazon. Now I have to figure out how to get the buy box to make ads for my shirts 😒
Gtin exemption is very frustrating at the moment. I followed old tutorials and it didn't work out. It looks like pictures of individual products are required now
But printful has to charge you something to sell in Amazon, that will make the product more expensive and not be competitive? so should be better sell in amazon on demand. And Amazon FBA is the same as Amazon Central?
I do not advise you to work with Amazon Printful Link because it is unprofitable. Shirts are expensive plus shipping and taxes with amazon monthly fees, transportation fees, and amazon taxes. You'll have to sell a plain t-shirt for $30 while it's sold in most marketplaces and on Amazon itself for just $14 and $19.
great video as always, but i want to ask about returns, do we have to accept returns as part of amazon seller account? and if yes where we keep them,(printful will donate as you said) is there a way to stock it and re-ship? or what is your recommendations
@@RyanHoguePassiveIncome thank you! Hmm...if I was approved for Merch while submitting my website with my paintings, will it hurt me if I submit graphic tee designs? Does it matter at all?
Hi I dont need a course but some coaching/guidance. I already do POD, have an etsy shop and Shopify shop but have been posyponing FBA for years. Do you offer coaching too?
Please do a GTIN Exemption 2021 video! Seen some people saying you now need to order your products from Printful to prove your brand name? A way around that for POD people may be to apply for the exemption under 'generic' instead of a named brand? Advice would be appreciated!
Hi Ryan, Do you have a video about setting up the shipping rates because it seems all our orders are free shipping on amazon but Printful is charging shipping :(
Hello Ryan, I'm new to the Merch by Amazon, still in my tier 10 Phase. what is the best way to advertise my merch without moving everything over to my Amazon Seller account?
My cent on the MBA invitation: IF it's true that a real person reviews your application, your country won't matter that much if they see that you're honest and you know what you're doing or what you plan on doing... and of course if use decent english.
I’ve been rejected twice for merch by Amazon 😫 any tips for getting accepted? I’m doing really well with my Etsy shop and wanted to extend my brand onto the Amazon platform.
Not sure how you can apply again? New email? Careful with that Amazon will eventually strike you for having more than one seller account under same IP address.
Amazon don't want competitors and they want your full attention when selling merch onto amazon platform.. So on your next try, use different email, and this time, do not mention that you have other stores on other marketplace or you're also selling on RB and other pod sites.. Just tell your experience as a graphic designer and your willingness to serve amazon customers. That's what I did and I got accepted after 1 week.
hey Ryan great video as always! I'd love to see a video on the GTIN exemption. It's been a bit of a headache lately as they seem to put up so many barriers, even with the Printful letter. Have you managed to get around it with your girlfriends account? Cheers!
Printful is absolutely horrible NEVER EVER use them if you want to build a legitimate business. They are impossible to deal with. Way too many shipping issues and they always find an excuse not to send a replacement or issue a refund even though the deadlines have long surpassed the date given, even when the label is the issue which they create. They will always find a way not to help. You are left with angry customers bashing your store because of the greed and incompetence of Printful. They are awful and I am now replacing all my prints. Trust me just don't do it.

Sorry to hear, but they do not read the applications (contrary to what some poeple think), I would plan on re-applying more than once 👍
I plan on it, @@RyanHoguePassiveIncome, but should I do it immediately or wait a bit? And I have to use a different email/account, correct? 🤔

Hi Ryan, not until A COUPLE WEEKS AFTER the custer has received money? thanks
Amazon holds onto the money for a long time. Etsy isn't nearly as bad
how do you handle the money side of this, when you’re waiting for amazon to pay. i would imagine when there’s a lot of purchases there’s a loan or some sort of money you have liquid. thanks for any advice there
Can you explain what it entails to deal with customer service and returns?

Hi Ryan so if you have both a MBA and a sellers account can you put the same t-shirt designs on both accounts or would that be seen as duplicating?

can amazon seller center also be integrated with other POD providers? thanks

my friend , using printful ,what should i put on the amazoncentral center, state owened, publicly, priveteor individual

Up to you can do it any way you like
Does this still stand, I started watching it and it’s an old video, it has some good information is it still valid?
Wow that integration is dope!🔥thank you for this piece of value Ryan!

can you use Printify for Seller Central?

But printful has to charge you something to sell in Amazon, that will make the product more expensive and not be competitive? so should be better sell in amazon on demand. And Amazon FBA is the same as Amazon Central?
Gtin exemption no longer exists. You have to have a branded product to send them
hi bro, amazon saller and amazon merch, it's the same account ? you must create an account for each ?
Thanks for the information. Do you know anything about Amazon handmade sellers who want to switch to POD and use the Printful integration?
thank u Ryan so insightful. love the videos.

CONFUSED. Is it a choose either?or or can you do merch by amazon and printful? or pick one....if picking one, printful you make a ton more per product
Can you sell the same designs on the same products on both MBA and Seller Central?
I wonder if its the same on etsy, do they hold your money for a couple of weeks as well?
