Hi Ryan! Carol here! I'm looking for information on how to configure shipping prices on Amazon with Printful. In the official tutorial they say that should be left as is, but I'm worried about it since looking at the migrated (default) template on Amazon, standard US shipping shows as $0.00 per order + $0.00 per Lb for the costumer! I don't get it, do you add the Printful shipping cost in the Printful price setting of the product, before uploading it to Amazon?? Can you share your experience with that please? 🙏🙌 Thank you!
Thanks for the awesome content. Regarding POD in Europe, the companies such as Printful now charge us VAT taxes. So now we'll have 21% less profit cause we are forced to decrease our prices. For example an €18 ( €12.50 Printful's price for Bella Canvas + €5.50 my profit ) t-shirt becomes €26,06 ( €18 the retail price + €3,72 shipping + €4,34 VAT ). That's way more than anyone would pay for a regular POD t-shirt. So in order to have a €5.50 profit, I have to charge my customers €26,06 ..that's worthless!
I know it's been a year, but if someone sees it. If You don't have company You will be charged with Vat and also Your customer will be charged with Vat. EU is a communist fraud that makes life hard for honest people and must be destroyed.

Just made my first Etsy sales and had my shirts placed at $7 CAD profit each. However, after the 2 shirts were processed and shipping was added i somehow ended up paying more to printful then i made from Etsy.. I have been using PODTurbo (bit.ly/PODTurbo) which pushes products to Seller Central (via Gearbubble integration) all day. It's pricey though. But I'm getting 200+ products pushed daily
I sell mugs via Gearbubble so I get much better base pricing. Mugs are tricky because their shipping charge via Printful is also much higher. I like $19.99 for 11oz mugs if using Printful

I had no idea that the amazon algorithms were not used as non merch seller...Does amazon monitor your sales in any way, such as all csr related, returns, complaints, etc. Would it affect your merch acct in a negative way if so? Your paying more than 8 bucks for the gilden cuz you pay for front and back designs and so on. I'd say for front and back and a tag 29.99 would get you a few bucks profit minus taxes and fees and cost of 23 bucks.
I’ve stayed away from Etsy because whilst a ton of dropshippers/POD people do this Etsy’s actual guidelines for POD dropshippers is that you HAVE to have physically created the designs you use yourself. They still require an element of ‘handmade’ so unless you’re an artist designing from scratch in photoshop or procreate you will probably run into problems. Although I don’t really see how Etsy can verify if you’ve made the designs or not because if you’re paying someone to make them there shouldn’t be any other trace of it online. On the other hand I suppose an algorithm with a bot could see if those designs exist else where if you’re using canva elements or anything from sites like creative Fabrica then it’d be pretty easy to trace back I suppose. Also someone could’ve just reported your store for violating TOS but I’ve seen a few of your videos and it’s not like you make your store known so idk.
What if the sell come through etsy off-site ads from another country that cost in shipping more than 3.99$ Definitely in this case there's a 0$ in profit and maybe a lose if the shipping was more than 5.99$ Please if I'm wrong can someone correct my analyse?

I see that no one has replied and wanted to let you know that yes it does include printing Your Design. I just spoke with someone at printful yesterday asking that same question. The only up charges are when you have something embroidered. Other than that it's included in the product price.
You're welcome. I'm happy to help. I completely agree. By the time you pay the high price for the product, add shipping you're only making a couple of dollars if that on the product. If your store is offering free shipping that is. Printful is just too overpriced in my opinion. I've decided to look at other options. The time it takes me to create the design and do all of the uploading and editing I'm working for pennies. Not how I imagined it.
I am really sad. Most of my clients ask me for express shipping. I have some great Birthday gifts etc. I know that Printful is not able to really fulfill this need. Ryan can you tell me what to write on my Etsy Store about Fulfillment +Shipping Days ?
It’s not FBA, closer to FBM. Printful, Printify offers direct API sync. Perhaps using POD’s is considered using a “warehouse” similar to what is allowed in wholesale. My two cents

Etsy cut me off for several months a year ago, I started selling Printful political apperal two weeks ago, instantly made 10 sales hit star seller, etsy put out a warning about trucker Convoy shirts and such,, my views went from 100s pr day to almost 0 Someone got butthurt at etsy. Maybe this will be a dumb question but, can i ask if sales tax deducts two times on your sale? coz apparently mine does. Ryan, I like your channel so don't take the following question the wrong way: Do you think it's somewhat deceptive to begin and end every video with you in front of a mansion and hanging out by the pool when that isn't your mansion? You provide great content on your channel so I don't see why you'd compromise your reputation or integrity by being misleading in this way. Your content is high quality enough to stand on its own without you needing to resort to these types of misleading tactics. Again, I am a fan of your channel so please don't take this the wrong way. I'm posing this question to you because I think it's important to not mislead people by giving the false impression that you own a mansion that is not actually yours. I hope you'll consider this constructive criticism from a genuine fan because I believe it will make you that much more credible if you didn't include these misleading intros and outros, showing you in front of a mansion that you do not own.
I don't think the mansion has anything to do with the content in the video content, I know some people will be distracted by it, at the end of the day I'm just trying to "stand out" in a world of saturation. I do appreciate the feedback

Since you actually do know how to make money, I just don't think you need to show that flash in the videos, because anyone who has watched any single one of your videos knows that you're the real deal just based on the substance of the content you provide. My Etsy shop got shut down - I got targeted by the "integrity" team. First suspension was from my election products. Second - I made a mug with a karate silhouette kicking a virus with "kung flu fighting". Last was a T-shirt with a bat that says "not food" as a bat lovers shirt. But I finally got my Printify and Ebay integrated. Free shipping. I just gotta do it.
Sorry to hear this. Mine got closed for a Trump product. I emailed them to find out why, because they didn't even email as to why, but I had just made my first sale, a Trump product, and they refunded it before it shipped and closed my account ... and there were only 10 Trump products in my shop ... so... censorship? Anyway I emailed them and asked them why they closed my shop. They responded (5 business days later) with an apology -- no explanation -- and said they reopened my shop. This whole censorship thing is freakin' ridiculous!
Printful is absolutely horrible NEVER EVER use them if you want to build a legitimate business. They are impossible to deal with. Way too many shipping issues and they always find an excuse not to send a replacement or issue a refund even though the deadlines have long surpassed the date given, even when the label is the issue which they create. They will always find a way not to help. You are left with angry customers bashing your store because of the greed and incompetence of Printful. They are awful and I am now replacing all my prints. Trust me just don't do it.
Free shipping in my opinion doesn't really rank much on etsy.. Most of times in my opinion the client sees you as amateur because almost everyone know shipping isn't free. Just my opinion. Walk on tags more
I don't like Etsy, not very nice to NON-US, even I did nothing, just uploaded several products, 2nd day they suspended my account for no reason...I won't waste my time on it. just on Amazon, and Redbubble, even I didn't get a sale on Redbubble yet.

Disappointed in how they handled this pandemic. Took away their 24/7 chat. Took days to respond to fulfillment ?s. Orders taking weeks to ship out. Running out of stock frequently. April & May understandable. July & August nah? Sorry but that just shows lack of problem solving and management not indicative of what you need in a supplier. It's sad because they have the best integrations. Maybe that's what they should focus on like Printify.

the digitization is only for 1 time for every embroidery file.

I have a question. Does that fulfillment price of $7.95 of printful includes the printing of my design on the t-shirt also? Does is there any extra charges for that?

I see that no one has replied and wanted to let you know that yes it does include printing Your Design. I just spoke with someone at printful yesterday asking that same question. The only up charges are when you have something embroidered. Other than that it's included in the product price.

You're welcome. I'm happy to help. I completely agree. By the time you pay the high price for the product, add shipping you're only making a couple of dollars if that on the product. If your store is offering free shipping that is. Printful is just too overpriced in my opinion. I've decided to look at other options. The time it takes me to create the design and do all of the uploading and editing I'm working for pennies. Not how I imagined it.

I've moved away from Printful besides the FBM. Printify has just much better margins and I get good reviews from the quality.
Looking to do that as well. Too hooked on that Amaz integration though. As smooth as Merch. Hate to do it.

It’s not FBA, closer to FBM. Printful, Printify offers direct API sync. Perhaps using POD’s is considered using a “warehouse” similar to what is allowed in wholesale. My two cents
Thanks for the video! Just opened my POD etsy shop this weekend. I though my T-shirts seemed reasonable to me pricing wise but I am def priced lower than you... -- I haven't figured out my pricing strategy for stickers yet because the fees and the shipping are high.
Etsy cut me off for several months a year ago, I started selling Printful political apperal two weeks ago, instantly made 10 sales hit star seller, etsy put out a warning about trucker Convoy shirts and such,, my views went from 100s pr day to almost 0
Someone got butthurt at etsy.

Maybe this will be a dumb question but, can i ask if sales tax deducts two times on your sale? coz apparently mine does. The first reflects on the customers' order breakdown and the 2nd deduction is on my payment account , you'll see aside from the earlier sale tax is another sale tax deducted. can someone enlighten me about this? thank youu very much

I stick to the same products, I wouldn't recommend designing specifically for Ebay. So for me it's Shirts/Mugs/Hats primarily
Ryan, I like your channel so don't take the following question the wrong way: Do you think it's somewhat deceptive to begin and end every video with you in front of a mansion and hanging out by the pool when that isn't your mansion? You provide great content on your channel so I don't see why you'd compromise your reputation or integrity by being misleading in this way. Your content is high quality enough to stand on its own without you needing to resort to these types of misleading tactics. Again, I am a fan of your channel so please don't take this the wrong way. I'm posing this question to you because I think it's important to not mislead people by giving the false impression that you own a mansion that is not actually yours. I hope you'll consider this constructive criticism from a genuine fan because I believe it will make you that much more credible if you didn't include these misleading intros and outros, showing you in front of a mansion that you do not own.
I don't think the mansion has anything to do with the content in the video content, I know some people will be distracted by it, at the end of the day I'm just trying to "stand out" in a world of saturation. I do appreciate the feedback

Because your channel is about how to make money and then you show the end of each video with you in front of a mansion and sports car, it sort of implies that you were able to afford the mansion and sports car through the methods you teach on this channel. Just to reiterate, though, your content is awesome. I just think that this flashiness of the sports car and mansion degrades your brand because it groups you with the fake gurus who use sports cars and mansion to imply that they know how to make money when they actually don't. Since you actually do know how to make money, I just don't think you need to show that flash in the videos, because anyone who has watched any single one of your videos knows that you're the real deal just based on the substance of the content you provide. Etsy booted me after I made my first sale. They aren't very good.
My Etsy shop got shut down - I got targeted by the "integrity" team. First suspension was from my election products. Second - I made a mug with a karate silhouette kicking a virus with "kung flu fighting". Last was a T-shirt with a bat that says "not food" as a bat lovers shirt.
But I finally got my Printify and Ebay integrated. Free shipping. I just gotta do it.
Sorry to hear this. Mine got closed for a Trump product. I emailed them to find out why, because they didn't even email as to why, but I had just made my first sale, a Trump product, and they refunded it before it shipped and closed my account ... and there were only 10 Trump products in my shop ... so... censorship? Anyway I emailed them and asked them why they closed my shop. They responded (5 business days later) with an apology -- no explanation -- and said they reopened my shop. This whole censorship thing is freakin' ridiculous!

Printful is absolutely horrible NEVER EVER use them if you want to build a legitimate business. They are impossible to deal with. Way too many shipping issues and they always find an excuse not to send a replacement or issue a refund even though the deadlines have long surpassed the date given, even when the label is the issue which they create. They will always find a way not to help. You are left with angry customers bashing your store because of the greed and incompetence of Printful. They are awful and I am now replacing all my prints. Trust me just don't do it.
These fees are definitely outdates, on a 20$ product on etsy, im paying almost 5$

Free shipping in my opinion doesn't really rank much on etsy.. Most of times in my opinion the client sees you as amateur because almost everyone know shipping isn't free. Just my opinion. Walk on tags more

I don't like Etsy, not very nice to NON-US, even I did nothing, just uploaded several products, 2nd day they suspended my account for no reason...I won't waste my time on it. just on Amazon, and Redbubble, even I didn't get a sale on Redbubble yet.

Disappointed in how they handled this pandemic. Took away their 24/7 chat. Took days to respond to fulfillment ?s. Orders taking weeks to ship out. Running out of stock frequently.
April & May understandable. July & August nah? Sorry but that just shows lack of problem solving and management not indicative of what you need in a supplier.
It's sad because they have the best integrations. Maybe that's what they should focus on like Printify.
