Shaggy Destroyer Of Worlds How to break "wood" under armor roof near ur sleeping bag because ur wood wall hardone is facing towards sleeping bag so the thing is how to transfer loot from outside to tc because u are not able to break the wooden wall which will help u access to that large box ??
remember to not lock the transfer box, raiders are more likely to break the box if it's locked meaning u lose the way of transferring loot in the bunker
It would be a huge shame to come back, just to realize your transfer box was destroyed. Leaving you with no easy way to rebuild it in there. I had to have both sides and the roof off, to get the roof tile to uncover the wall again.
note: upgrading wallframes/doorways to sheet metal isnt needed unless the doors you're using are armored. stone works perfectly and is cheaper if you're low on frags
Such an underrated channel man love the videos and reminders for somone who is new to the rust community it’s so nice to see dedicated guys like you keep up the amazing work!!
small footprint and hard to raid. perfect! the way you explain and show the video is probably the best way to show a build. better than all other build videos out there! you deserve a lot more recognition. Thanks for this . and please keep making more videos like these. Now about the build.. I like how well it has offline protection. I will try to use some stone over this and expand further to have shooting floors and also areas inside for better online raid protection. It will increase cost but then also it will become a base for 3-4 players.
I appreciate that, we've been getting out there a bit more and more, all i can do is make the vid to the best of my ability and let the community do the rest :)
This is actually a really great base and I may try it next wipe. The only downsides that I can see are: -No shooting floor -Only 1 entrance/exit -Inconveniences of a double bunker -shotgun traps in loot room can be drained or shot at. Nothing too bad. Great job with the base!
There is so much you can add to this base, i really was trying to showcase the wall trick with a stability bunker entrance for the initail raid cost of 32 rockets, i can see this base getting really stronger with some intelligent additions
I love these expensive to raid bases and I have been using this base for several wipes now, its amazing! Could you do like a version two of this concept? Keep up the good work bud!
You responded! Most RUclipsrs don’t take the time of day to do that, I appreciate it man! You’re right just keep doing you and the Subs will come, always enjoy the videos (:
The main problem with this base is the weakness of the first bunker. Dedicated groups could easily softside jackhammer the armored foundation. If you were to follow door path and then soft-side the square armored foundation you could get into the tc for only 21 rockets.
additionally,if you were to splash the armored wall on the right while blowing into tc you could get to tc and one loot room for 24 rockets. To fully raid the base its would cost about 32 rockets.
A few comments. 1. I understand that you're using the build you are with the roof glitch and what not, but using 2 drop boxes really just saves you a lot more time and you can still put loot on the inside in the shelves like small boxes and BBQs. 2. if you place the bag there, won't you be spawning with a rock and nothing else? How would you get to the box that has the tools? You still have to hit out a hardside wood wall to get it.
Your loot you want to move is in an outter loot room. You respawn into stability bunker, and get tools to pick soft side of wood wall from your transfer box. Go out into base and move good loot to transfer box, and tools, then respawn in TC room and secure good loot. 👍 Respawn in base and close up stability bunker.
@@leafchip That doesn't make sense. Look at the build, he puts the sleepingbag on the hardside of the wood seal underneath the bunker. So you spawn with a rock on that side, and you have to get into the other side of the wood halfwall to get the tools. There's nowhere else he can spawn, the only other bag is on the other side of a softside highqual wall, so Idk how this is supposed to work.
@@leafchip I think maybe a bag and a campfire would fit? but not a small box. I'm just wondering why he put the bag where he did, that's all, because it seems illogical to me. :P
you can put a bag on the foundation instead of on the ground and just flip the softside to the foundation, i should have shown that way in the video. sorry about that
That sheet metal raised foundation that you haven't upgraded is for sure the weak point. If you started your raid from either of the 2 triangle foundations near the front door and then into that raised square foundation, you'd have direct access to the TC wall, making your raid cost 8 less rockets to get to TC (and also giving you access to the inside of the base).
love that base design ! been building it for 3 wipes. only raided once and he used like 16 c4 and 8 rockets to get to tc and one loot room. i prefer upgrading the lootrooms to hqm instead of the honeycomb of the bunker and adding honeycomb to the lootrooms.
I agree, and to be honest i use a bunch more hqm than i show in my videos sometimes. alot of people don't like a 600hqm requirement for a base, i do always try to keep upgrading beyond what is in the video in mind while designing.
My Gaming Experience hahaha yeah for the cost of raiding it I would walk away haha. The chances of having the worth value are slim if raided. Again mate. Love it
Behind the second single armored door where you placed the triangle into ceiling to fit 2 large boxes and storage space on it. If you placed the triangle coming out from the opposite of door and the pointy side faceing the door, you could fit 2 shotgun traps above ur second single door on the half hight. Would give great protection against door raid.
@@MyGamingExperience allso that triangle holding the boxes if you placed the boxes before sealing the roof above it u can fit 3 boxes in there but then u could get in only one shotgun trap. Not sure if second would fit there
Great vid, maybe lower the in game volume a little and add some quiet music. If your pc can handle it, improving the shader quality will make it look a little more professional
As a solo noob ...Even just making the 1st bunker with a stone honeycombed base around it would be good and alot better them most small bases I see out there. Awsome video man 👌
Please excuse my lack of knowledge of stability bunkers, but how do you get the foundation-less section of floor to collapse from spawning on the sleeping bag below? I've created this base and can not figure out how to open the stability bunker portion to utilize this design, let alone how to climb out of the hole, without killing myself a 2nd time, to then kill myself a 3rd time to stock the things in the main TC bunker.
you soft side pick the wooden half wall, instead of putting the bag on the floor put it on the triangle where the small box is, and keep a tool on you, once you break the wood the floor will collapse
Insane bunker idea. With a bit extra build costs this could be made even more insane by adding 2 of these bunkers in a base. I might try to find a design that’s Unsplashable, dope video
Stability bunker have its down side, you can softside pick through the armored foundation. Yeah it takes time, but not as much that it used to, now that we have those jackhammers.
How do you break the first entrance to the bunker from the other side? you cant spawn behind the soft side of the wood where the transfer box is so u cant get in there with any sword to softside the wood half wall...
you can put a stash in the ground with tool and change the direction of the softside, or you can put the sleeping bag on the triangle foundation, sorry i should have shown this in the video
Amazing build, armory is expensive but for how strong it is 👍. Did you find the box glitch or was it someone else? Overall very good video, easy to follow and fun to watch.
no it wouldn't be expensive I think he was just trying to show you can have a very small base that is hard to raid. It's a concept vid. Obviously adding stone honeycomb would be smart since it would make the base look less juicy.
Matthew Cohan hit the nail on the head, this base was simply for the smallest size, i did want to cover all the hqm with sheet metal so it doesn't have that rich base vib (too much)
You can raid it with 37 rockets and get tc. I just did it on a build server. But they would have to deal with the turrets. But definitely an awesome and well thought out base.
@@MyGamingExperience I second this. For build vids I don't care if they are long. What I want is a thoughtful step by step process that I can follow. you have to place a stash near the bag in the bunker from the start, you might not be able to place it later. I tried to raid it like a random player , it took 18 C4 and 60 explo ammo.
The only thing i would have done, would be to change all the doorframes and doubledoorframes from sheetmetal to stone. You could make the base 4 rockets less if you honeycomb with sheet instead of hqm, but then add another layer of honeycomb of stone on the outside. This way you’ll have way less hqm upkeep and you won’t need that much. It wouldn’t be as strong though.. This base is really sick, the only thing is that the hqm would be hard for most solos and SOME duos.. (1 bag in the bunkers) Really good video, you explain everything you do perfectly, I’ll probably try this one out tbh :))
i appreciate that, this base will most likely come down to playstyle, possible for some impossible for others, im gonna do some testing with lowering the hqm cost/upkeep and adding more around the outside
I use similar design, but as a solo player. The problem that just 1 member of the group can enter TC and bunker makes it hart to organize and transfer loot. I use two drop boxes instead of the large box. I think the 100hqm upkeep pretty intense !
@@MyGamingExperience yes for sure I know ! and the good thing about that is you don't need dropbox BP. But set up the base and this special design its kinda hard as a solo player and way to expensive
When I start out on a new server, should I start building this immediately or maybe do a 2x1, wait for enough resources and THEN start building this on a suitable location?
there is nothing ever wrong with putting down a 1x1 to hold some mats. although this build is a huge investment right at the start, it is not a trivial build, only attempt a build with your entire start on you if you feel comfortable.
@@MyGamingExperience Ok thanks, right now I'm using your new 2x2 base design and me and my teammate like it, so I don't think I'll use this video's design for this wipe. Maybe next one!
I am using your design, got raided once before I could finish it but trying it again. BIG thanx, very nice design. Question- How do I break the wood wall? I am guessing a campfire near the bag with tools, or perhaps just spawn to TC, take wood out and wait? There is a wood wall between me and transfer box. Its holding the amoured triangle up. Also for others trying this beware: I had trouble at first with box sticking out too far, the second double wall didn't take also uneven ground will cause your stability bunker sleeping bag to stick out too far to place the raised square foundation. Lastly I found it helpful to place a red siren light on side of foundation to jump out of stability bunker because I placed foundation high. Edit: Got raided again (on official server), it was a offline raid, this time I was 99% finished building your design. They broke the empty walled off room in the back plus first armored honeycomb section back there. Only lost 4 large batteries I had sealed in there. The stability bunker area is also great place to place the electricity components.
I don't quite get how you are suppose to soft side pic this bunker. Your sleeping bag is alone on the hard side of the wood and the soft side of the cement. With the small box on the other side of the bag, where do you grab a pic from? And how are you going to soft side pic the wood?
so this was a production error on my part, you would have to stash the tool next to the bag, you can place the bag on the other triangle down there to softside pick the wall from the direction its shown in the video, sorry about that confusion
My Gaming Experience Brother I still dont get it how you are supposed to access the stash if your sleeping bag is on the empty tringle and there is a wood wall blocking it. One smarter way would be to have some tools in the large box that goes through the wall and grab them from it to soft side.
That's how I see it working as well. When I built this, I was able to get the Sleeping bag and a fireplace on the softside. From there, I had the pit full of tools to pick out, and I still had full slots to transfer loot into the transfer box. Something I ran into, it was very difficult to jump out if built on uneven terrain. My open triangle ended being way lower than I expected. But I was able to overcome it by placing a furnace to jump off from. I also only armored the box, and left the inner honeycomb metal. That combined with some extra stone honecome to hide the metal loot rooms, it made me appear a lot less of a target, than a full metal base would show as.
how do u get into the first bunker?, u spawn on the sleaping bad below the stability triangle roof, but how do u get through the wooden half wall without tools?, the box that u placed in the video is behind the wooden half wall
u can put the sleeping bag on the foundation instead of the floor and reverse the soft side of the half wall or you can bury the tool to break it with in the ground
i've been using a very similar design for 3 months now on vanilla servers as a solo, (eu main and eu trio) i've been raided roughly 25 times , only 4 of those got to my tc , the rest only took out the area around the 1 by 1 , since it store all my main loot , it actually made it possible to continue on the wipe , my main comment based on experience is i'd only hqm the 1 by 1 , if they got enough resources to go thru 1 wall of hqm , they got resources to go thru 2 while you are offline (after going thru the sheet walls or doors ), overall good design
Ok, i just checked and its in 1080p60 now, it takes a little longer than normal sometimes for youtube to release all the qualities, you had me scared there for a sec :)
I don't get it, if somebody destroys the passthrough box how do you get the loot out of the room? Wouldn't you have to destory the HQM wall to get into the loot room and TC if the box is destroyed?
congratulations first base that impresses me, i've build a double bunker HQM with sheet honeycomb but it was just 16 for each room but it had more space
Awesome! I'm really liking this double bunker things, the idea of combining them is very strong, the only thing that is a downside is they get really expensive really quick
Smart and interesting build but the outer bunker is vulnerable to having its foundations jackhammered, 20 mins & ~3 jackhammers and you negate 16 rockets - having a workbench accessible makes this much more viable. 2 front doors, 1 garage door to WB (optional), jackhammer bunker foundation & through one armored wall and you have TC.
at end game i would prolly use armored double doors leading all the way up to the armored foundations to make the cost closer to the 16 they negate by jackhammering the foundation
Not hard to make a base a lot of rockets to raid, but not many people want to go through the lengths of having to spawn in their loot and killing to bring loot out.
Raidingtools and most of your ressources (metal frags, HQ, Stones, Wood, Scrap) you dont use to frequent, so you can store them in the bunker. Guns, ammo, tools and some crafting ressources you can store in the secondary lootrooms.
so, for dou's could you use one of the honeycomb triangles to extend the loot room to drop a second bag? makes getting to tc easier but lets 2 people have access to tc and loot area? food for thought i guess. maybe use a double door or garage in it to separate? could also let you make a 1x1 to start with a door at the begging and once you have mats wall it in? you could also in theory make it a 2x1 with squares and use the second square as the jump spot for bunker in case they do get through first, would enable you to reset the one box in the second bunker. but that does change the whole footprint of the base, so may have to rework placement and stuff obviously
there is 2 ways, you could stash the tools in the ground or you could put the bag on the triangle instead of the small box, i should have showed this in the video

I play on console and I don’t even know if this base works on pc for you guys. I want to do this base but instead of placing a box thru the wall and stuff would the bunker still work if I make it a garage door
i believe theres something about twig you can break it through a wall or something eliminating the bunker, but if you have a couple hatchets or something it really doesnt take too long
You don't put a code lock on the box. That way they have no reason to destroy it. If they do destroy it anyway, yes, you are screwed. You won't be able to use the bunker anymore. In that case the only way to get loot out is drop boxes.
@@SALT_KING Yeah, that's why I don't particularly like this method for passing loot. I like the idea of a stability bunker combined with a suicide bunker though. Will be experimenting with it. Thanks for the idea!

(1 bag in the bunkers)
Really good video, you explain everything you do perfectly, I’ll probably try this one out tbh :))
i appreciate that, this base will most likely come down to playstyle, possible for some impossible for others, im gonna do some testing with lowering the hqm cost/upkeep and adding more around the outside
My Gaming Experience sick bro, these vids are sick, i would love similar base designs for a small group 3-5 people. Your explanation is really good!
If I missed it I apologize, but what is the build cost and upkeep?
10k wood 13k frags, 569 hqm
@@MyGamingExperience upkeep cost?
Joshua Horne maybe like 90 hqm
I don't even play this game but I live watching your videos
I appreciate that, thank you
Live?
How on earth would you get these kinda resources in vanilla??
SolarenDerm lol that’s nothing. I’ve got 2 rows of hqm on rusty moose mini
If you can't farm this solo Vanilla youre not really playing rust.
600 hqm is nothing, I mean we got recyclers now
how am i going to build with the 4 hrs i have a week
@@cheesse9yearsand 4 hours a week is there even any point in playing lol
I use similar design, but as a solo player. The problem that just 1 member of the group can enter TC and bunker makes it hart to organize and transfer loot. I use two drop boxes instead of the large box. I think the 100hqm upkeep pretty intense !
you can put 2 boxes through the wall as well, just in the very beginning you can do the roof trick on both sides
@@MyGamingExperience yes for sure I know ! and the good thing about that is you don't need dropbox BP. But set up the base and this special design its kinda hard as a solo player and way to expensive
What if someone raids you but doesn’t get into main loot and breaks the loot transfer box Can you replace it
?
ACOG DOG possibly but i would just place some drop boxes and transfer loot that way
ACOG DOG lmao wassup bro I’ve teamed with u b4. I would say place a drop box there to replace it
you can put drop boxes there, unfortunately you cant replace the box
but what happens when the raider destroy the box sticking trought the wall?
asking the real question
Dusty that box is only used for moving loot in and out. if they destroy it whatever was in it will fall out on the outside.
drop box
When I start out on a new server, should I start building this immediately or maybe do a 2x1, wait for enough resources and THEN start building this on a suitable location?
Btw I play with duo/trio
there is nothing ever wrong with putting down a 1x1 to hold some mats. although this build is a huge investment right at the start, it is not a trivial build, only attempt a build with your entire start on you if you feel comfortable.
The stability bunker area is also great place to place the electricity components.
yup using a tool is prolly the, you could also put a sleeping back on the hqm triangle instead of the floor
Has this been patched?
no it still works
@@MyGamingExperience Awesome! Thanks a lot.
Nop its already patch.
Not sure what I've done wrong but the bag outside of the TC room under the floor spawns me on top of the floor. Why would that be?
try to put the sleeping bag on the triangle foundation that is down there this will also make the wood easier to pick
That worked and preferable also. I keep a pickaxe in the chest to break the half wall which works well
I don't quite get how you are suppose to soft side pic this bunker.
The cheapest way to raid is to blow straight to tc and remove all resources then building walls around it waiting for decay
This is true
But that also makes it easy to counter
i've been using a very similar design for 3 months now on vanilla servers as a solo, (eu main and eu trio) i've been raided roughly 25 times , only 4 of those got to my tc , the rest only took out the area around the 1 by 1 , since it store all my main loot , it actually made it possible to continue on the wipe , my main comment based on experience is i'd only hqm the 1 by 1 , if they got enough resources to go thru 1 wall of hqm , they got resources to go thru 2 while you are offline (after going thru the sheet walls or doors ), overall good design
I appreciate that, its a really strong concept. Im gonna do some testing with the sheet metal to see if i could come up with something good
THANK YOU!! FIRST! ILY
edit: pls change the quality, it's only 360p ;(
edit II: nvm already changed, thanks :D im a huge fan btw
its only in 360p?
Ok, i just checked and its in 1080p60 now, it takes a little longer than normal sometimes for youtube to release all the qualities, you had me scared there for a sec :)
My Gaming Experience sorry about that haha
I don't get it, if somebody destroys the passthrough box how do you get the loot out of the room? Wouldn't you have to destory the HQM wall to get into the loot room and TC if the box is destroyed?
using a drop box
*Auto Turrets Require Electricity Now* for anyone watching this now and fairly new to the game like me.

I appreciate that thank you
The roof can be wood, don't need to be stone ^^
wood?

What?!
congratulations first base that impresses me, i've build a double bunker HQM with sheet honeycomb but it was just 16 for each room but it had more space
Awesome! I'm really liking this double bunker things, the idea of combining them is very strong, the only thing that is a downside is they get really expensive really quick
imagine the shame and disappointment one would feel by accidentally deleting their tc room bag XD
haha, the base would feel worse, it would decay :))
actually happened to my friend in his bunker base. accidentally gave the bag to his friend.
Not hard to make a base a lot of rockets to raid, but not many people want to go through the lengths of having to spawn in their loot and killing to bring loot out.
it all comes down to playstyle
Raidingtools and most of your ressources (metal frags, HQ, Stones, Wood, Scrap) you dont use to frequent, so you can store them in the bunker. Guns, ammo, tools and some crafting ressources you can store in the secondary lootrooms.
Can you make this but add one more foundation to the bunker for bags?
you can yes
if u are 2-3 ppl and have jackies just jack hammer the bunker fundation :) takes like 10 min or more. thank me later
indeed
really ? doesent make any sense
so, for dou's could you use one of the honeycomb triangles to extend the loot room to drop a second bag? makes getting to tc easier but lets 2 people have access to tc and loot area? food for thought i guess. maybe use a double door or garage in it to separate? could also let you make a 1x1 to start with a door at the begging and once you have mats wall it in? you could also in theory make it a 2x1 with squares and use the second square as the jump spot for bunker in case they do get through first, would enable you to reset the one box in the second bunker. but that does change the whole footprint of the base, so may have to rework placement and stuff obviously
all viable options tbh, this base was to showcase the double bunker concept, there are many many ways you could make the base better/stronger
Hello from Russia! Hello of WoodCock.
Hello Russia, welcome, woodcock
So when u are respawning in stability bunker, in wchich way can i storage loot if i have no acces to the tc
you can put the loot into the box in the wall, you would have to respawn inside the vault then
@@MyGamingExperience but how i acces stability bunker

I have watched the video, i do not understand the language but I can see he did very good job.
Really cool base but how u gonna break the bunker? The bag is in the other side and the wood wall softside facing the other direction too....?
there is 2 ways, you could stash the tools in the ground or you could put the bag on the triangle instead of the small box, i should have showed this in the video
36 Rockets and 16 explosive ammo with those 2 sheet metal doors to TC.
pretty expensive raid for the size
13:08 How would you reach the leftmost loot box under the workbench with the TC placed there?
you can reach it even with the locker there
Have a look at new WoodCook's video abour ur base
I checked it out, he did very good job
I love these builds each wipe I use a different design
this one is very very strong
Hi Russians, there is a question, I am a youtuber on the game RUST in the Russian community you will not mind if I so to speak translate your construction of the house into Russian (I will build your house and provide a link to your RUclips channel) How do you like the offer? And if there is any contact information give me them that I contacted you, and then through the comments is not convenient)
I do not mind
Genius I’ve been looking for a base design like this small and cheap but strong af very efficient build
Indeed
Great design but you put the sleeping bag on the WRONG SIDE of the wall!!!
Sshhhhh
you can put a stash in the ground, i should have maybe shown it with the bag on the triangle foundation instead of the box. it does fit
@@MyGamingExperience ya relying on materials/tools from TC/boxes much better than 1 stash to pickout. Plus it's on softside.
I play on console and I don’t even know if this base works on pc for you guys. I want to do this base but instead of placing a box thru the wall and stuff would the bunker still work if I make it a garage door
it would still work but the overall security of the base would lose 12 rockets
@@MyGamingExperience thank you for the reply

if they raid everything but main loot. and they destroy the chest which you use to transfer. what do u do to get the loot out?
you can add dropboxes in case of that emergency
The video thumbnail is what I tell the girls.

Can you Use twig instead of wood cuse wood is so long to break?
i believe theres something about twig you can break it through a wall or something eliminating the bunker, but if you have a couple hatchets or something it really doesnt take too long
people say that you can hit the twig with an incen rocket

jesus christ. ive just got up my first 4x4 stone base and i see stuff like this >
4x4's work, get some good peek downs around the side, good to go
I cant build it because I cant turn the first raised triangle so the second raised triangle go together whith the firs one
hmm
14:23 Rust Academy is going to copy strike your channel :v xDDDD
lol
How to rebuild if my chest inside the wall is destroyed?
you have to replace it with dropboxes
500 Hqm is not acceptable for vanilla
depending on playstyle it can be on the tougher side
How would you replace the large box if you are unsuccessfully raided through the bunker entrance? Or would you opt for a dropbox in such a case?
You don't put a code lock on the box. That way they have no reason to destroy it. If they do destroy it anyway, yes, you are screwed. You won't be able to use the bunker anymore. In that case the only way to get loot out is drop boxes.
@@SALT_KING Yeah, that's why I don't particularly like this method for passing loot. I like the idea of a stability bunker combined with a suicide bunker though. Will be experimenting with it. Thanks for the idea!
combinations of these bunkers can be very strong
grab that jackhammer boiz and start picking :P
NOOOOOO haha
I love the double bunker concept and it seems super secure....however if I tried building it I probably would mess up lol...definetley gonna use it or try though
it does need a very exact build order, but it is very strong
Кто от WoodCock?
many people
U can raid from the top wall where u raided it will only cost 4 C4 and 16 rockeds do get to main loot
do you mean the loot or the tc room? there is a triangle hqm honeycomb on 3 sides of the tc
Кто от woodcock'a?
yes
What if the transfer box gets broken I a raid?
you will have to put a drop box there
if you configure the lootrooms like this you may not be able to replace the garage doors due to a recent update
if you pick up the boxes you can readd the doors and than readd the boxes after, it was a weird change to building tbh
Hello is it possible to replace the sleeping bag on the ground if he get destroyed
you can put it onto the triangle foundation underneath the box through the wall
