7a is a amazing choice if you're short a few bucks. But The base 7 will give you a bit better performance according to benchmark

Agree. If you can spend the extra, you should. Software experience, camera, battery, form factor is absolutely great on the S23. Also, the Pixels are surprisingly heavy. S23 is light too. Plus, more software support. S23 FTW❤

And software too. OnePlus has an oxygen OS which looks exactly like Realme UI.
That's rebranding for UI. Oxygen os is still more optimized then realme ui, less bloat, faster updates then realme UI. Coming back to pixel UI. Definitely it's one of best but like pixel 6a if it has so many bugs in future and heating issues are real. Phone start lagging after using medium heavy task after 20 mins. If google would have better chip then definitely pixel was to go.

I recently got a Realme GT 2 pro with the exchange of OnePlus 9 Pro. Too many software bugs, green line in display after update, camera glitches after new Android update.

Bro, while comparing storage, u need to check one more thing nowadays apart from ufs type... That's usb type... I think 7a sports usb 3.1 type output which is helpful to some extent

You're absolutely wrong. Google doesn't tune the camera for GCam. It's the default GCam app which other developers customise. Google does nothing for other phones wrt camera

Pixel 7 and 7A dont share same SoC. 7's tensor G2 and 7A's G2 are different. Google did a shady job by putting binned version of G2 in 7A

its not compact phone.. even though it is 6.1", its way bigger than samsung S22 or S23. Too bad that google couldnt design a compact phone. Pixel 7 is 6.3" and 7A is 6.1". Whats the need for another phone in the same size?. Wish google kept A series truly compact 145mm X 68mm range. Its heavier than S22/S23 also.
