1. Critique is not betrayal.
2. Dave doesn’t allow recording, that club footage was never supposed to be publicized. It wasn’t an attack.
3. Dave wasn’t wrong for defending other comedians who have their own personal woes in the midst of that interview. Katt didn’t just call out big dogs who hurt others, there were many smaller entertainers he just plainly threw under the bus and lied about them never putting in any past work or never performing in places they definitely did. He said Tiffany Haddish never performed at a venue in LA that not only did she perform there, DAVE CHAPPELLE got her the opportunity. So he would know!
