Never the easiest of attempts when trying to emulate the one and only John Denver. And yet, Doc Nirmala makes it sound so easy. John Denver as usual embellished his songs with simple, visually rich and a haunting melody. This song could be a tribute to ones love lost / living. The music is so minimal, especially due to the strong and endearing vocal overlay. Revisiting a masterpiece is always daunting, but when a singer does this is by habit, it's a sign of exellence. Sing on Doc and light up our lives as always.
