Thanks for sharing Jersey with us. I do appreciate how much you showed all the neolithic sites. Most one show a quick view of one with the church on top. And never inside. Kudos👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
My god my partner is obsessed with the Channel Islands and I have bore witness to hundreds of crappy Jersey reviews... this is BY FAR not one of those. This is absolutely brilliant and mindblowing. Myself as a fan of Jungle and other similar music I am just fucking obsessed. And as us both being fellow Bournemouth residents, the level of talent coming from somewhere local has totally blown us away. Just know you've got two huge fans here who are now gonna go through your whole back catalogue and watch everything. Please please please keep up the good work cus you're seriously killing it.
Really appreciate it thanks! 😊 the jungle aspect of the channel seems to really trip some people up - like: confused, even enraged ! folks have had 30 years to comprehend that D&B exists... but there we are. Thrilled there are people who love the sound are finding this too :) i'm sure you saw we've got a bandcamp for our stuff - but if you haven't caught it yet - we also did a mix entirely of originals - search: Arboreal: Summer 2022 and you'll find it!
👍 great video… Having visited ALL of the Channel Islands many many times over the years for 2-3 weeks at a time, I fully agree @ 16:24, keeping to the coastal paths as much as possible, I’ve done all round Jersey in about 4 full days
Thank you, some really beautiful pics. Planning to go to Jersey at one point, my great grand father was from Jersey island, emigrated to Canada in or around 1850
I liked your film but I think you were a bit snooty about Fort Regent in St Helier. I spent a fun half day there clambering around the edge of the fort, which was still intact and free to access, with terrific views. Also the interior of the fort was being put to good use with an array of different, seemingly independent leisure facilities. The domed area was being used as a covid vaccination centre.
You pronounced Greve De Lecq perfect lol but St Brelades bay is pronounced Brelards. I see you didn’t find Ousanie Bay then hahaha I’d have loved to have heard you say that lol
seems not - i'm sworn off spoons tho, the way they threw all their staff under the bus when lockdown hit. plus Tim Martin is almost Shakespearean in his grotesquery
@@ForestArchaicCollective Your pronounciation of Grève de Lecq was spot on but St Brelade is with a long a like Brelahde and St Aubin is like an O St o-bin
I knew there was a decent travel review of Jersey somewhere on YT. Useful, informative, witty. Thanks. 🙂

@@ForestArchaicCollective I think the mix of great footage and greater, evocative music is the perfect match and deeply deeply talented! Keep it up!

Yup it’s 48 miles in diameter as I used to run the ultra

brilliant! Yh have been meaning to go back ourselves when we get an excuse, i'm sure you'll love it! its a very special place
I miss my island. It’s a great video on the ferry lol but jersey is amazing and Greve De Lecq is the most amazing place on the island.
Amazingly produced. To have such low views on these videos is a crime...
very kind 😊thks

I used to love the soft play area inside!
Its Elizabeth Castle not Elizabeth fort.
Kind of like Key West, Florida, in terms of affordability.
Ohh Kismet looks delish!
Gutted there was no "Why did the chicken cross the road" joke haha
Jersey looks way better than Guernsey, nicely produced.
Amazing

I love it when people unfamiliar with the word try to pronounce ‘quay’, lol 🍻
And he pronounced hougue bie as hug bee which did irritate me a little
St Aubins is pronounced obins
Is there a spoons though?
seems not - i'm sworn off spoons tho, the way they threw all their staff under the bus when lockdown hit.

So beautiful place🙏❤️
You need to work on your Jersey place pronounciation!
No kidding! 😅my french pronunciation is bad enough, let alone having to contend with Jèrriais

Makes me very homesick. Wonder why I left. A nice compilation. St. Aubin = St. Obin. Mt. Orgueil = Orgayie (Mt. Pride). Brelade = Brelard.
