The indies I recongnise: Sonic Shorts I love it. The shorts are all made by different people, so as a singular entity it's quite difficult to properly criticize. That aside most of them made me laugh, and some even stood the test of time to get references and redraws. Long Gone Gulch Saw the pilot once. It's nothing to write home about from the story I've seen. Just 2 goobers who save a town and become heroes, nothing too special. The Amazing Digital Circus There's only 3 episodes and it's already expanding. Merchendise. Netflix deal. Countless memes, fanarts and lewds. It was what you call and instant hit. And for good reason. Glitch has the reputation from previous works like Meta Runner, SMG4, Sunset Paradise etc. The animation is bouncy but consistent throughout, with little to none of the issues you'd usually find in 3D animation. The story is good and the characters' feelings and struggles grow more on you with each "adventure". Meanwhile the virtual purgatory and abstraction sideplot brings a sense of dread that maintains the conflict. Great overall. Learning With Pibby Heard about it once or twice. Read the Know Your Meme article. The plot is basically "beloved tv shows get infected with a rapidly spreading virus that turns them evil and mutates them." Nothing else caught my interest. Punch Punch Forever Speedoru is known for a few things. Porn mostly, but also this cute gem of a show. The tournament plot is simple and generic but the wacky characters sell it so well that you stick around to see more. Pain Girl This one is recent. Girl is evil. Demon tells girl to do more evil. They bring their reluctant friend to a store and murder everyone because they ran out of Girl's favourite ice cream. What's that? That's too sudden? Who cares! It's cool and certainly wont get stale. The plot in its entirety is murder. Murder is the punchline to everything. Except when they bring in a famous voice actor. The creator(s) made damn sure to stretch *_those_* scenes out as long as possible. Almost as if they had no other material. Even the last few scenes in the prison imply there's just gonna be more killing. If I wanted a murder compilation I'd watch God of War playthroughs.
It sucks that indie internet animation is the only good spot left for western animation. But, its also good to these well deserved shows get these millions of views and develop these hordes of fans. The internet is great at building those communities.

I wish Panic Planet got it's own show, it's the best paced pilot I've ever seen tbh! And I remember being so excited abt the nb rep when I was younger....
We are in a dark age. Yes, the indie scene is going strong. But that isnt a guarantee to earn a liveable wage. Small ones are done by certain individuals and friends. And their pilots might not be seen. So all their hard work might be for nothing. Or the ones that do pay have no benefits cause it's contracting freelancers. No medical, no consistent pay. And AI gave people the mentality to pay people jack. I want to love animating for money again. But can't. Yes passion is important. But passion cant buy food
That's why I wanna try my best to at least get some of the lesser known stuff out there in the future and do my part. But this last decade has brought us very far, stuff like Digital Circus wasn't possible for a long time.

I wasn't talking about quantity-wise, what I meant was that the network was pushing them to pump out stuff fast which is why you could see a noticeable quality dip as far as the narrative in COTG. Wasn't healthy for the show in general.
I don't wanna sound like I'm hating but, the editing is a bit much, pretty fast paced and lacking relation to whats being discussed here and there, that and if you're scripting these videos or talking about whats on your mind right then and there, you go off topic or can't stay on the title videos topic for too long, and it's kinda distracting. Again, I don't wanna sound like another hating a$$ comment you'd see on someone else's channel, but I can still recognize you put some amazing effort into this video and probably others you worked on too, so I do hope you can keep on improving what you make, and grow your audience more.
