  • I always found the My Hero Academia art style kind of interesting. It’s a little bit different to your typical shonen style. So here’s how to draw it!

The main thing people forgor 💀 when copying or studing his art style, is the way kohei shades. Its erratic, alot of hatching and cross hatching for literally anything thats in shadow

Holy crap you’re literally so amazing- I LOVE seeing people talk about the MHA style! Horikoshi is such a talented individual. Ur explanations were great and ur art was even better! I like ur oc a lot

Horikoshi’s artstyle is a lot of fun! It’s great because there are a lot of subtle things in it that you might not notice at first :). Tallia looks a bit strange in this style, but it was cool to try it :D

I like how you explained the whole shape language thing with this style :)

It might be the most important part of the style :) And you can use it to improve a lot of styles I think!

I’ve actually been studying the owl house style in a similar way though this video brought some neat ideas up to help me study better in the future and study different types of media better rather than just animation thanks so much! Can’t wait to see what you make in 2023

You can definitely do this kind of study with any kind of art. Video game art styles are a great one, especially if you can get a hold of the art books that some games release. Thanks for being here friend :)

Great Video! And cool character! I like her.
I have a bunch of MHA OCs. (pfp is one of them, a villain) And I'm somewhat getting used to the artstyle but at the end of the day, they still look more like my artstyle. I blur the shadows way too much, and I most often use 3 to 4 types of shadows.
But I really love the MHA style and it has become my favorite artstyle over the years. I just love looking at it.

I really enjoy the simple style of shading in the MHA style! It’s very different to how I would normally shade too. I like lots of soft shading, but its fun to try something different! Would love to see your MHA OC :).

did you pay for your references or just borrow them from the internet? Ethics are weird.

    • @aarantheartist

No I didn’t pay for them. Why would it be weird to use references when I give proper credit to the original artists?

Aaran has made content spreading misinformation about Ai. So i am here to see where his ethics are.
Why is it ok for him to appropriate style using a machine.

@@aarantheartist Its weird because you do it so freely and confidently. But last week you insulted Ai artists who do the same thing.
You use technology to help you capture a persons style. You JUST DID it on video.
Last week you talked about the morality of this. How is it moral for you to do it, but not another person?
