Nick, I cannot even begin to describe how sorry I am for your loss. When you said that you lost a female friend to suicide, I had assumed it was just a friend. I never would've guessed it was your sister. My heart genuinely breaks for you. I don't have any siblings myself, but even if I did, I couldn't imagine how bad it feels to lose them like that. Please don't be afraid to take any more off-time if you need it and always know that you have a wide range of friends and family members who love you and appreciate who you are 💖❤️🩹

Don't apologize for being "off", because what you are and have been going through is indescribable. A lot of us have watched you for a while and I remember you talking about your sister (maybe you have more than one)- but you have always spoken highly of your family, so it must have been very tough. I really credit you with a lot of strength to even be able to do this, i know from experience it probably hafnt hit you yet and you would have been in a numb space during the filming. Honestly friends is one of the best comfort shows and when my grandfather passed i did the same. I needed to step out of reality for a moment.
You handle this the way and in the time you need to and we will all support you, if there is a time when you need to take a moment and can't record reactions, in order to heal we will be waiting and completely understanding. No pressure just support in anyway we can.

So sorry for your loss, it's perfectly understandable that you weren't at your best and that you took a break.
At the time i watched the Ross/Rachel breakup for the first time i was too young to understand the nuances of what they were going through but i learned a very valuable thing: If there's ever talks about breaks, separation or anything similar in a relationship make it perfectly clear what that entails.
Either way, i empathize a lot with both of them and understand why they feel the way they do. Saying anything more than that doesn't seem productive
Also, i feel that going forward the two of them have great chemistry and are very funny together

To be fair, when Rachel said "a break from us" she also thought it meant a break up... otherwise, why would she say to Mark when he called " I told him we should take a break uuuggh, I dont wanna take a break". So I totally side with Ross, it's completely normal for someone to seek solace in a moment of utter despair. In his mind, his girl broke up with him and immediately brought another man into the picture, a man she knows he doesn't trust.
I disagree, neither agreed to the break. She didn’t think it was a break up.

@@TristinWright-zk9cj She didn't think it was a break up? Then why did she tell Monica the next morning that they "broke up"? And then why did she ask Ross if she could "be his girlfriend again"? Both imply that she thought they were broken up *and* that she wasn't his girlfriend for that night. She literally only started to act like it was "just a break" when she found out he slept with someone. I love Rachel to pieces, but.. she thought they were broken up UNTIL he slept with someone and then she changed her mind.

Thank you for opening up with your followers people do love and care about you even though we only know you on here, you just have a way of us feeling like we do and we genuinely feel your pain and im sorry you and your family have to go through this loss. Keep shining and know its ok to not be ok, grief is a roller coaster, I lost my brother 18 yrs ago amd i still have mental breakdowns. I had no idea it was your sister. 😢 😭 I'm so sorry, I know nothing I say can take away the pain but I'm here for you. As I'm sure we all are. I lost my older brother to addiction two years ago and then about a year ago my mom passed and it still hurts and feels like it happened last week. 💔
Some days feel OK but others feel AWFUL 💔 I kind of know what you're going through and all I have to say is BE KIND and gracious to yourself and let yourself feel whatever emotion you feel. I lost my Grandfather on my birthday this year. It was painful but I had my family with me. I'm so sorry for your loss and can only imagine how much it hurt losing a sibling. Hi NickFlix I agree with you about having empathy for all the characters . The way the show allows us to see what happened between Ross and Rachel shows the perspective of both sides . That makes it easier to see both sides but it does show where the clouds of judgement are as well. When I saw the scene where Rachel brought up the "break up" to Ross it did not sound like she meant it officially but at the time neither of them were sitting down and talking anything out.
I saw it as they both were just acting on emotions ....not logically 'What should we do about this?" And that for me was the disconnect in their relationship.
I Love all the cast and their characters and always will.... even all the cameos .
I'm really happy for phoebe and frank meeting. Phoebe always wanted to know her family shouldn't get her father but She got a sibling that actually cares about her and loves her.
Frank probably isn't really about much at home And having a sister that wants to spend time with him and get to know him probably means the world to him

The "crying Indian" is a pop culture reference; through the 70s and into the early 80s (at the time the Friends would have been growing up) there was an ad campaign called Keep America Beautiful encouraging people not to leave their litter on the ground or toss it out their car windows; lots of cigarette butts (which don't decompose), styrofoam fast food containers, soda and beer can (and bottles) would just left casually on the beach or in the parks or on the sides of roads. There is a great scene in an early episode of Mad Men--set in the 1960's--where Don Draper and his family have a picnic at a scenic spot just off the road, and when the family is done and packing up, Hamm takes the blanket with the food trash and just dumps it on the ground before folding the blanket up and going back to the car. I grew up when this was still a common practice in the 70s, but I still remember gasping out loud because my generation was taught through the Keep America Beautiful ads that we just CAN'T do this anymore.
The ads starred Iron Eyes Cody (not a real Native American, actually. He was an Italian-American actor who portrayed Native Americans in Hollywood films. Even his half-sister said that he was of Italian ancestry, but he denied it until the day he died and he was buried under the name Iron Eyes Cody) as the Crying Indian, weeping over the state of natural settings after humans left their trash everywhere. You see the ads here on YT, just search "crying Indian litter ad."

God, I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my sister too, though it was about 17 years ago now.
I don't know if it was explained to you guys already (my mom had to explain it to me) but there used to be a commercial to discourage littering, and it was of someone throwing litter on the ground and I believe the ghost of a Native American ("Indian") would cry, I guess symbolizing how the land itself mourned the state of America. Chandler's joke was very of its time unfortunately, but he didn't mean anything bad by it (at least not any worse than American society thought in those days). Just figured that since I knew I would share!

First of all i"m so sorry for your loss. It takes a lot of courage to film a reaction video after that. Hope you got all the support system you need.
Now about episode 17 for me Ross was just soooo selfish. He got his friends last weekend and Rachel had to stay alone and now that it's rachel's weekend he tries to gaslight his friends. Nah i was not feeling sorry for him. He needs to learn and btw it's his fault if the situation is the way it is so he was wrong.

I feel like it's important to point out that Ross and Rachel were together for an entire year, (they got together in season 2 episode 14, and broke up in season 3, episode 16), she only knew Mark for about 3 months (they meet in the beginning of January and this episode where she dates him is the end of March) and she hasn't worked with him in 2 months. So while Mark MIGHT have been attracted to her, by his own account he hadn't tried to do anything about it because he respected the fact she was with someone else...a fact Ross can't seem to grasp. So don't let Ross off the hook here; he's only trying to justify his jealous behavior and the fact that he never trusted Rachel.
Soooo you didn't feel bad for Rachel when Ross asked first, but felt bad for Ross when Rachel made plans first? On top of that Rachel was cool and accepted it and Ross guilt tripped them and you felt bad for him?
Not sure why it didn’t make the edit, but in the full reaction they do feel bad for Rachel when they hangout with Ross in the beginning. They felt bad for both.

thing is, rachel understood the others had plans with ross and said it was ok and they could do something next weekend, but the next weekend when they had plans with rachel ross threw a whole tantrum and started to gaslight them cause he was just so sad and they were gonna leave him alone in his loneliness and depression. he's insufferable

Oh my gosh, 😢 my heart goes out to you so much. My big brother just died a few weeks ago and I can barely handle the pain a lot of days. I’m happy you’re doing these videos, it will help (I think) getting to a new normal. If will take us a long time to except they will no longer be here, the only thing I know is my brother would never want my mom and I stop partaking in this world.
