Thank you for this video! I just received the 48 needle Sentro for Christmas and was able to crank out a hat and scarf then, BOOM! the counter is off!! I order two new counters from Amazon because I have a 40 needle coming tomorrow. I'm so disappointed in the counter breaking, but I'm glad there is a solution and that you showed me how to put it on my machine. Thanks again.
So glad I found this video. The counter on my Sentro machine was inconsistent. The installation of the digital counter was easy. I secured the parts with velcro for ease of re-use should I need to replace the machine. Works perfectly. Thank you!

No matter what I do with this counter if the magnet is not facing down to the sensor it does not count. so happy to see someone mention with teh sensor you need to get more of an angle on the sentro 48 machine. that said, i tried this, my sensor only works if it's pointed directly at the magnet.

I got the items arrived today and I watched the previous video, it was easy, awesome, and works but everything was all messy, the magnet was in front of the machine and the wire was all over the place. I didn't like that. I wanted to find another video to see if any idea, trick, or any possibility to hide the wire and the magnet from the machine because I don't want the yarn to tangle with them. Yours was the cleanest one to hide everything behind the machine was pure genuis! 100% subscribe! Love it! Thank you!
Thank you. I have a Prym Maxi and it was very tricky for me. I had to put the magnet on the bottom because the needles and center all rotated. Basically upside of what you did on the bright pink machine
I was wondering cause you're installing the sensor inside of the knitting mschine wont that stop the project to knit down into the middle of the circle?

thank you so much for making this video and making it so user friendly I definitely will want to invest in a row counter for my other machine which does not come with a counter and what an awesome idea of using both glue and the hot glue gun to get it to stick in place I think I'll give it a try as well 😁🙌🧣💖

I have mine like this but my yarn catches on it for the first 30 rows or so. It's so annoying to have to hold the tail up everytime it goes around. Any suggestions?

You don’t need to have the magnet at the white peg - can be anywhere as long as long as the sensor and counter align when the white peg is at the yarn “input”. The original counter is at the side, same thing.

if you use velcro, then you can easily remove the device to change the battery in the counter. I used velcro on the device and the magnet counter.
Does the yarn get caught on it on the inside.
