Did Voltron four times last week for the first time and its an absolutely world-class experience. The coaster itself is insane. The inversions and launches, hang time and all the other elements are completely overwhelming as a single experience. Add to that the queue with all the theming, the story around Nikola Telsa and crazy stuff like the Tesla coils on the ceiling of the building, are all amazing. Looks like Europapark finally has its unique signature attraction. If it wasnt already one, if not the best themepark in the world, with Voltron it truly is.
I think something like Voltron would make a wonderful addition to AT an intense, airtime centric, launched thrill coaster as a replacement for Rita. Voltron would really complement Thirteen in dark Forrest if themed correctly, and it has the throughput towers need.
It would be a great fit but the gp would think its too similar to the smiler especially with the seating configuration, i think an extreme spinner would be a better fit and then when the time finally comes to remove spinball whizzer they can get something like a vekoma suspended family coaster

Also really enjoyed the recap at the end, not just for hearing your thoughts, but just looking at the empty park as you both had your peaceful stroll out of the park with no crowds 😊
I got to go there Wednesday and had the best luck ever, got front row both times, outer rightside is definitely a lot whippier and full of energy. Loved it. Can't wait to ride it again. Also, the first time was via single rider line with a friend, both of us being in the front row. Had similar luck with Wodan, got first row with single rider line.
I’ve absolutely loved the videos recently you guys have done so well! volition looks amazing the theming looks incredible. you and charlotte are definitely the BEST ever youtubers and i cannot wait for more vlogs to come
Brilliant vlog guys, the one I was waiting for and you didn’t disappoint. Great thorough and honest review. Can’t wait to go in July, hopefully those trains will be fixed by then. Keep up the superb work 😊👍
So happy you had better experiences after your first ride! I just love the layout and all the elements! I imagine a true night ride with coming outside into the darkness would be amazing!
Another banging video! Now that you managed 4 rides on different rows, I'll just give a thought I held back and that was the the night before ... it valleyed. 😥 I just think of the Smiler issue and this ride has many qualities of Smiler. Overall, they need to get some theming to the turntable and I really am bored to tears with spikes! Great job Shawn and Charlotte!
Micheal Mack said in an interview that the back row right seat is the best and most intense!! The whole area and coaster looks awesome, can’t wait to experience it soon
I don’t actually mind the rimac car in the middle of the land, it’s like a celebration of our pinnacles of both amusement and automotive technology, and the fact that rimac is a Croatian company, surrounded by Croatian architecture certainly pushes forward the country theme I think
yeah. definitely not the worst sponsor you could think of. the gazprom one was kinda tacky, even before the war. hopefully stuff like that doesn't return.
I think it’s fair to cut them some slack with that sponsorship car. The amount of theming and detail gone into that ride they no doubt required some very heavy subsidisation in order to realise that. I mean that is a Disney and Universal level build - it’s hugely impressive. Just the queue features and load building alone must have taken a significant budget.
I don't like the sponsoring in EP. But I'll take that any time because EP cares so much for the customer experience. They often run all trains on mid busy days, never have i experienced a day where i felt they keep me waiting in line on purpose. In other parks they'll try to sell you fast passes. (Full days have to be avoided as in every park). But still Sponsoring is meh
There’s so much theming and details around the area which is wonderful to see. I just wish they didn’t have sponsors for the rides, however understand that it does create large revenue for them!
i don't even know the numbers, but europa park is probably doing very well in terms of money. they have the main park, the hotels, water park, mack attractions. and all of it is running really well. they also making money with food and merchandise. it's a money printer and they don't have to pay out money to share holders and stuff. i doubt they need the sponsors. but of course, they can do it if they want to and it's not that big of a deal. but i really doubt they need it.
Nice vlog. Attention to detail really good as always. Very much appreciated as I doubt I will ever visit Europa Park & rides are now sadly a thing of the past for myself healthwise. Glad you both eventually got a better train & ride on Voltron😊
Aw great to see you had a much better experience after the morning. And how you managed to stay quiet during your front row POV is amazing! And that last back row ride, wow intense! 😂😂
Really glad that the roughness is something that they'll definitely be fixing by the time I get out there. Helix is my favourite coaster, so I've been excited for this one and it seems like thankfully it doesn't disappoint.
Another fantastic vlog, thanks for all the extra details on the theming etc. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Charlotte so excited as on that back row ride, I thought she was going to wet herself! 😂. Looking forward to the upcoming Europa vlogs, we are planning our first visit for next year 👍
I take back what I said yesterday, I can now see that actually the ride looks better the more times you see it. Well done for queuing so many times to get each row 🎉.
I’m so glad you had a better ride the second time round! I was concerned in your previous vlog, hearing it was rougher than a Gerstlauer 😂 Very strange to be allowing people to ride on trains with no suspension but I suppose they were thinking from a throughput perspective! Glad you both had a great time! I’ve never been to Europa Park but hoping to get down there at some point this year or in 2025 🤞🏻
It's not no suspension. It's not perfectly set up suspension. Modern coaster cars use springs and stuff to keep all three wheels in contact with the track. Could be minimal changes that make a huge difference. For example the gerstlauer train Karacho in Tripsdrill is set up in a way that its slightly of centered to account for the launch track. They had to come up with this idea. But since a lot of people say its one of the smoothest launched gerstlauers.
@@dete1barne Interesting, thanks for the explanation! Still interesting how they chose through-put over rider comfort though. Nobody wants to come off a brand new coaster with a banging headache 😂
Completely agree with the middle seats, it's a really different experience to the outer ones. Enjoyed it so much more. The whole area and the coaster really are a photographer's dream! So many great spots, and trains coming round at such quick pace... like you said, you could spent hours here (and I did!). Btw. the single rider line was always around 45 minutes starting from when you enter the station building. Very efficient, as per EP standards!
It's strange that quite a few people have reported that certain trains are much rougher than others, wonder how quick they'll be to fix the suspension. Would be a shame for someone's only experience of this ride to be a rough one.
As far as I know, Mack has not yet decided on a final configuration of some components of the trains and is currently testing different systems and settings. This would explain the different driving behavior of the trains and would also mean that the roller coaster should be smoother and more consistent in the future.
I don't know, but they're actively working on it. From what I've heard from a friend who works at europa. The train that rolled back on Thursday, apparently it happened because of a change they made trying to solve the issue. so shouldn't take long.

Cool I love crorasia Its my favorite country but I stopped going 3 years ago 😢 I am going back soon and it was the first country I ever went to I love there strawberry juice have you had it I would be sat a the bar when I was 6 saying "more more more more" 😂😂
I disagree on the car looking out of place, it's a style meant for this same type of area. Most hyper cars like it are often found and pictured in classic stone architecture, especially this one. Rimac is a perfect partner here and I think the car looks stunning in this spot. Europa nailed it.
That looks amazing .. you have to be nuts to not like it. I’m so jealous you got to ride it so many times. It is my most anticipated. It’s such a long ride
Really great theming. Wish we would see even half this effort from Seaworld/Busch. I'm not as fond of coasters with so many inversions nowadays, but it looks fantastic. One benefit of having small trains is how many trains they can fit on the track (along with the blocks of course) you get a super chaotic environment like The Smiler or something. Just trains everywhere.
Great video Shawn and Charlotte from Voltron Nevera, the NEW multi-launch coaster at Europa Park. Keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte.😀😎👍👍
Looks brilliant this rollercoaster! I am starting my journey riding different coasters, only on 21 due to my height, I am hoping to get out to Europa Park soon and try this out but it also makes me excited for Hyperia opening which will be one of my first big big rollercoasters!
Absolutly love the theming on this ride! It's insane!!! The theme tune is so damn good too! Been listening to it loads since the ride opened a few days ago! One day I'll make it out to Germany and get to experince this for real! Personally I love the merch! That cream coloured hoodie is beautiful! the minamalist design on the front and embossed logo on the back looks so damn good! RE: The animatronic. In an interview Sean (Lift hills and thrills) did with Michael Mack he said that they are working with Weta Workshop on a super advanced one which will use AI to actually interact with guests!! But it's not ready yet so this will do haha
This ride reminds me of The Smiler at Alton Towers Resort which in my honest opinion is an awesome ride. It has some fantastic theming and looks brilliant as well. Hopefully they can sort out the suspension problems on the 2 remaining carriages and get the ride fully completed for a smooth but intense ride for everyone to enjoy on all 7 carriages. What a mad ride though. It looks great.
Possibly they was short staff yesterday thats why all mad chaos happened. Glad Charlotte ok!! Enjoy the your time at Europe park . Not long till Hyperia x
Love your RUclips channel, love your content, love your videos ❤Shawn and Charlotte are the best RUclipsrs. They have the best RUclips channel that does theme park vlogs ❤🎢 I’m definitely a big fan of your RUclips channel
Just to point out that the turntable is part of the story: You are being transported from the first big tesla coil to the second one and then back again. I think it was explained in one of their cinematic trailers.
The theming looks so cool. Not sure the ride experience lives up to their own high standards from your reactions but still looked amazing. I’m not a fan of headaches though
Nice vlog, really enjoyed and always look forward to the next. Think could do aswell with closing up the turntable section, making it an indoor scene, with voice over, liked it when it goes backwards better I think around turntable? If it goes backwards, stops and launches you backwards, that would be better ride experience? Or if not? Keep it forwards? Then launch forwards? But nice new addition, love the station setting, at one point thought in the background I saw Richard Hammond lol, especially as he has crashed the Rimac on Grand Tour? Yeah I don't think he really does like that car after that? Not sure about car being central to land where it is, think maybe it could go hanging above somewhere, be themed around a dark ride or racing car coaster of some sorts, but it just being in the area doesn't honestly make sense? But nice vlog, enjoyed and now going to watch Europa Park Day One vlog. Cheers. 😀👍
There's a lot of aspects that remind me of what El Toro Ryan talked about in his video on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Both do go beyond vertical so its not that distant-at least most of the block zones feel more disguised except for the final break run sections and the one with the bell tower
great to see this coaster finally live up to its potential, still not as good as people hoped for though. oh well, you cant win them all. thats the joy of being a theme park enthusiast
Brilliant vlog you two. Glad you both had better rides. And that outside seat on the back row you could see in the off ride footage it was probably the best seat. You could tell from Charlotte's reaction too 😂😂 I'd love to see you do a video with the technical teams involved in bringing these rides to life and the subsequent testing and tinkering when the rides open. I've always been interested in seeing how they work, especially hi tech coasters like this. Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm sure lots of us would like to see the stuff in the background. Not the mechanical side as such but more the computer systems etc. 😊
I gotta say, single rider queue WAS the best option, especially for someone like me who was alone on opening day, I managed to get a lot of rides on it during opening day (stopped counting after a while 🤣) I would say I could get on it every 30min to 1h max, I consider myself very lucky!
It's very interesting to see everyones thoughts and how different they are! As Voltron Nevera is now many peoples number 1 coaster beating Ride To Happiness!
It looks good here, but I wouldn't have coped with all the pushing on the first one with my anger issues and autism. I felt angry for poor Charlotte just watching it and you probably felt really uncomfortable with all the pressure behind as well. I do think that this is the best theme park channel and one of the best channels in general. Forget Mr beast, theme park worldwide prevails!
Alton need to scrap Rita and plan a really well themed mack spinner or stryker in that area by digging a little below ground. It would transform that area of the park.
I had two rides on it last week and they were completely different. The first was during the morning and it was a great ride. I loved it. I really did, Sadly the second ride was on my last day, which was without doubt the busiest day I have ever seen at the park. Crazy queue times all days but luckily I got a virtual line ride just before the park closed at 8 o`clock so it was a near night ride. Unfortunately it was an outside seat on one of the bad cars and it was horrible. I got off with a banging headache which lasted all night meaning I was awake half the night. They really do have to sort those cars out asap. It must be really disappointing for people who have queued for 2 hours and find they are in a train giving such an uncomfortable ride on what is a great coaster.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! For me, it takes away from the beautiful buildings surrounding it!
That looks amazing .. you have to be nuts to not like it. I’m so jealous you got to ride it so many times. It is my most anticipated. It’s such a long ride
I really think it has potential to be my next number one coaster.
The theming is excellent. Definitely, there’s trains everywhere!
First what a ride that is love to go on it one day!!!
Great to hear different thoughts on both the coaster and the whole area and how they differ from different youtubers
Thanks for watching!
Just found you guys!! I made all the seats and gwazi heads and painted them for iron Gwazi!
This really does feel like the Mack Rides version of The Smiler!
A brilliant vlog. We live RTH too, but Voltron looks like a must!
RTH is amazing!
Possibly they was short staff yesterday thats why all mad chaos happened. Glad Charlotte ok!! Enjoy the your time at Europe park . Not long till Hyperia x
Thank you, can’t wait for Hyperia!
Love your RUclips channel, love your content, love your videos ❤Shawn and Charlotte are the best RUclipsrs. They have the best RUclips channel that does theme park vlogs ❤🎢
I’m definitely a big fan of your RUclips channel
Thank you!
i love your videos so much i ordered a cameo and im so excited xx
Thanks for your support
Thanks for your support
@@ThemeParkWorldwide I love all your videos
Just to point out that the turntable is part of the story: You are being transported from the first big tesla coil to the second one and then back again. I think it was explained in one of their cinematic trailers.
I would to see this shown with enhanced theming and narration in this area!
The theming looks so cool. Not sure the ride experience lives up to their own high standards from your reactions but still looked amazing. I’m not a fan of headaches though
I’m going to uropa park in 2 days can’t wait to experience Voltron and hope I get the good train on there 😂😂😂
Nice vlog, really enjoyed and always look forward to the next.
The gift shop thing is interesting. I use my incense holder from Efteling most weeks and that was quite a randim purchase
Glad you are liking it more now 😊
We had some much better rides on it later in the day and on the good trains!
Really interested to see your top 10s.
Glad to hear your second ride felt much more comfortable than the first one ❤️🎢
I’m glad that it was!
Random fact of the day. That Rimac happens to be the fastest production car ever outside of top speed and worth somewhere around $3,000,000
Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant vlog you two. Glad you both had better rides.
And that outside seat on the back row you could see in the off ride footage it was probably the best seat. You could tell from Charlotte's reaction too 😂😂
I'd love to see you do a video with the technical teams involved in bringing these rides to life and the subsequent testing and tinkering when the rides open. I've always been interested in seeing how they work, especially hi tech coasters like this. Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm sure lots of us would like to see the stuff in the background. Not the mechanical side as such but more the computer systems etc. 😊
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions!
I gotta say, single rider queue WAS the best option, especially for someone like me who was alone on opening day, I managed to get a lot of rides on it during opening day (stopped counting after a while 🤣)
I would say I could get on it every 30min to 1h max, I consider myself very lucky!
That’s very good to hear!
It's very interesting to see everyones thoughts and how different they are! As Voltron Nevera is now many peoples number 1 coaster beating Ride To Happiness!
Everyone always has different opinions which is always great! For us, the priority needs to be making the ride consistent with every train!
Awesome Video Guys 😄😄
Thanks!
Would love to see an Xtreme Spinning Coaster!
Can’t wait to see the full park vlog! We are coming on Wednesday for the first time ever!!! Hope you do the phantom of the opera VR too!
Have a great time!
Charlotte when you said are you getting some airtime 😂
Can't wait to be there in august . Greetings from Portugal 🎉
Thanks for sharing! Hopefully they get this sorted out asap!
On the way back to Uk.... Shawn & Charlotte play Voltron Nevera soundtrack. When they hit the uk border, Nemesis Reborn soundtrack
You need to have a word and get Hollister making the merch!
My ranking:
1. Voltron
2. Ride to Happiness
3. Velocicoaster
4. Toutatis
5. Taron
The last note in that Tesla coil composition makes me drool
YIPEEEEEEE LOVE YOU GUYSS
Shawn when are you next going to Thorpe park?🎢🎢🎢🎀
Yeah Shawn when are you going?
Hyperia opening!
