Its because Disney does not have money anymore and their construction projects take YEARS to complete...compared to other companies that have actual money to spend.
Don’t forget, in Paris it’s new land expansion so it takes longer and they are building infrastructure for more expansion further in the future. Also during all this they had an entire hotel refurb and the current refurb of the majority of Disney village. They also have had to replace all the entrance flooring and the majority of the fantasyland flooring. Overall it’s a tonne of work and that’s why it’s taking longer than you’d expect. Basically my point is they are doing tonnes of other stuff ontop of frozen land
That area looks magnificent! Love the interaction between the flume and coaster. That may be the best looking power coaster I've seen. Excellent vlog once again, really enjoying this series from Europa park

It looks lovely and great fun and the whole area looks great but....i miss the atmosphere and magical vibe of the diamond mine and kind of shame never rebuilt it. Still you can tell it was a redesigned with love. Also love C for preaching the bargains!

Everyone who says the old cave was better is just mostly nostalgic. The old trail was magical - yes - but so much lower in quality and far less interesting. The old diamond mine never had lots of crowds. And they kept the heart of the old area, the gift shop with the tunnel. If the smell will come back as well this area is far superior. But I have to agree that the log flume has far less to see. At least right now, maybe they will add more theming.
Thanks to you two, I am now planning my first visit to Europa Park, The travel blogs really do inspire me to make the trip, plus your informative style on the visits to the park really make me want to experience what Mack have to offer :)
I love 2 lap coasters. Rushing through the station is quite atmospheric and cheering makes it good fun 👍. Also I have to say the car design with shaped seats and adjustable lap bars is far better for taking kids on with you. Looks great!
I love what they did. It's amazing how much they achieved! I think they could improve: 1) Water from the log flume now spills over the trough below onto what _used_ to be the fast strobe tunnel section on the Alpenexpress, I've seen this happen a couple times already 2) The first helix looks very empty, hopefully over the next couple weeks they can add more shade and greenery - the area used to feel very secret and lush before, though at least the foliage will grow naturally over time. I do think the landscaping round that bit could be improved though, e.g. before the train used to be "closer to the ground" because the terrain was higher towards the track Looking forward to seeing what they do over the next 2 weeks and further :)

To be honest, this kind of puts Chessington to shame. They’ve had an SBNO powered coaster for nearly 3 years and Europa have replaced theirs in less than one!

I looked up POVs of the old alpen express and I hope theming on the scale of the indoor diamond mine is still in the plans for the proper opening. I understand if the show building was a fire hazard but hopefully they can still put some smaller little indoor theming inside some of those tunnels
What I loved about this previously was that it was three cool rides in one space: a log ride, a coaster, and a walk-through. Is the walk-through still open?
I went to Europa Park twice last year after the fire, the first time only three days after, and have never been on these two rides. I`m going next week for 3 days and was disappointed when they announced the re-opening date. Now they are having a "soft opening" hopefully I will get to ride them now.
Haha, that's what I'm starting to think. Multiple times in the same park, big upgrades to attractions quickly after it each time. They must get some good insurance payouts.

Since I'm very sceptical on Therme, I'm going to predict it won't ever be built, and it will remain a blank plot of land for years, and in 2031, i will go to the location to see if my prediction of Therme manchester never being built has come true If i ever run into Therme themselves, i will tell them "Therme, you lied to us! You said you were going to give Manchester a new waterpark, then you broke your promises and never built it! The UK needs better than that!"
The new seating area looking into the coaster and log flume reminds me of a similar seating area themed into Valravn at Cedar Point. Its nice, but still leaves me with questions in how they fit in with the neighboring area(s). Like does it negatively effect the Spain area having that view into that section of the rides since its fairly alpine compared to the more Andalusian vibe of the Spain area, or do the kinetics and extra viewing angle cancel out the clash of themes?

it's way worse than it was before in my opinion. The cave was essential and without it it's nowhere near the same

You cannot film on any of the rides, no matter what device you have.
The a-phone is usually from a position in the queue or ride entrance, for that members of staff to contact the operator in the cabin!
