0:11 Always loved that little tune. It evokes the perfect "tragic fairy tale" ambience. Sorrow, loneliness, mystery, desolation & hope all wrapped up in the same fourteen notes.
I'd say Sombor Wonder
Agreed! It reminds me a little of Across The Stars from the Stars Wars soundtrack. A tragic love story in seven notes
Same! that little tune is just amazing!
I just saw the musical for the first time locally and absolutely fell in love with that little part because it’s echoed throughout the musical even in the background music. I’ve been trying to figure out how to find more of the music to know how many songs it’s featured in!
i watched this movie so many times as a little kid, it’s odd hearing that part today always makes the hair on the back of neck stand up.
How is it possible to create such beautiful music?! 😭
he just had good inspiration (Camille Saint-Saens 'Aquarium').
@@user-ut3hj4mf8m YOU ARE MY GODDESS. hate it when i cant find the inspiration for musics that make me feel the way this one does
@@ianmatos7823 my pleasure. :*
Alan Menken is a wizard I swear. Not only is he one of the best song writers who ever lived but he can also create beautiful scores too. How, I will never understand.
It is. We are many lucky ones listen to it. :-)
Am I the only one who gets emotional with how beautiful this is?... It's like so beautiful it hurts?
It makes me want to cry
No i completely understand
Not only you
Pain and beauty at the same time 😢
Beautiful
Am I like the only getting goosebumps listening to this music..
No, Listening to it every day
Me too I swear!!!! We are sensitive people eh
Assil T haha omg trueee
same
Same here. Every hair on my body is standing on end. And I get goosebumps.
This song fit so well with the movie, and the castle itself. It gives me a winter wonderland vibe, but at the same time magical and royal. Bravo to the people who made it.
This prologue is so hauntingly beautiful Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favs with Lion King!
X10000🤩♥️♥️
The piano gives me a feel of Christmas. Sounds like magic.
Sameeee!
Chrismas ? Sound like halloween for me....
he was cursed around Christmas, thats why they used such elements

When I heard this one in kindergarten in the mid'90s it changed my life forever. The legendary intro theme stuck in my head and I doubt it will ever go away ❤️ Since then, I wanted to become a composer and I just got my first instrumental released!
Wow, that’s amazing. I hope you do well!
Wow For me too! x from 96 and my favourite movie was B&B and the the prologue music was basically my favourite lullaby
Have you released ir on RUclips. If so please share us the link inwould be glad
God, Alan Menken is a genius! This is so beautiful! Alan is my favorite disney composer!
Me too
He's a musical theatre god
HE TRULY IS A GENIUS
it's beautiful, but remember about the oryginal. this music is deeply inspired by Camille Saint-Saens 'Aquarium'.
@@user-ut3hj4mf8m I know, however, I prefer this one.
It would be so cool if there was a 1 hour version to this, it’s good music to play in the background when you’re reading ❤️❤️

Out driving through the woods on a misty night ( driving at night or a forest in general would work with this, haha)
There is the great lesson of 'Beauty and the Beast,'
that a thing must be loved,
before it is lovable.'
It also teaches humility, the beast becomes humble and becomes a better person (human) it also helps the people around him (everyone else changes back), but those who don’t become humble like Gaston suffer the consequences
It’s crazy how songs can make one person feel many emotions that no other could describe. It brings back a sense of nostalgia and sweet innocence just by a simple tune. Music is an interesting thing, as it plays with emotions as well. I’ve seen many people say this song makes them want to cry, but not upset tears like happy tears. Cry out of feeling an exhilarating emotion they don’t know how to describe and it’s an amazing feeling. You’re truly at home💖
I've been trying to find this without the narration. Thanks for posting.
Gives me goosebumps every time 💖
The real name of this song is Saint-Saëns: Carnival of the Animals - Aquarium
@@leonardohopplescoth1783 nope, thats not the same--
As a child i always loved this melody sm
Every time I hear this tune, ever since I was a kid, i always tear up.
Edit: Now that I've finished hearing this I'm balling my eyes out. You did this piece so much justice. The very fabric of emotions that this music represents are not only intact but more vivid than ever.
I'm getting nostalgic, hearing this masterpiece... The beginning of a heartwarming story. Nowadays we can learn so much more about the story and to share love also hope. Love is always important. The ground to built so much.
You never cease to amaze. A good narrator's voice will complete this version. I can imagine the falling snow, the huge castle and the rose.
I’m doing this as a play and I’m a narrator. I’m using this as background for my reading
Beautiful. It popped into my head 20 years later.
You know a piece is good when it brings tears to your eyes. I could listen to this all day. Such a beautiful and moving piece of music.
I'm crying 😭 . It makes emotional . Because 2017 was my favorite year in my life. I lived my life with feeling every single moment with a positive and innocent smile . Yes I faced diseases and physical pain but I didn't know that what is depression . And beauty and the beast is the best remarkable think of 2017 . It gave me good vibes . I love you. And I want live a life like before .💛💛
Shindy - Im Schatten der Feigenbäume 🙌
cool story bro
Is that the name of the piece?
@@joshualawore4100 No, it’s a song by a german Rapper that sampled this song
@Quolit, Yh I went to go listen it’s a good song, I just realised how dumb I must’ve sounded to a German person
This piece is so underrated. It is outstandingly beautiful!
This part always finds a way into my heart, it's sorta haunting but in a very sweet and magical floral sense
This theme and Disney have always maken me feel many emotion that I can't discribe
I feel that there is something very dark in this music, like a real Evil, the fear for the uknow and at the same time a history of deep suffering
So many different emotions in this one small piece ❤
We know right! 😏
The prologue music has always been one of my favourite parts of the entire movie
This music alone can hook anybody to get into the story. It so magical...
My school just did Beauty and the Beast as a play. The music sounds so amazing live I cried.
shindy war hier
I once got this theme mixed up with the theme of chocolat and realised they are both a little French. But this one is so incredibly enchanting with its soft beautiful lilting notes and it's beastly deeper counterpart notes.
I watched this as a cartoon at a time in childhood when I felt alone and needed someone and now here I am for the movie, I guess, the world never truly changes.
Cherish it for all you can! ❤
As a kid I loved the stained glass window story and I always wondered what happened to the rest of the people in the glass windows.
I did not know at the time it had anything to do with the movie.
So beautiful with and without the narration.
Its incredible how a beautiful melody can tell a story without words, the moment I heard that piano when I was a kid it immediately caught my attention. I can hear the whole transformation throughout the song, the tragedy the sadness the mystery the phantasy and the beauty. But most importantly there is a scene at the end of the movie where the Beast is fighting Gaston and he's about to kill him and suddenly he remembers everything he went through, you can see it in his eyes and the melody starts again, there's no need for words just the song was enough to invoke so many feelings so fast and then he has mercy on Gaston and he let him live and also when he dies and finally transforms into a beautiful human, wow. Truly a masterpiece.
Please i Need „shindy Im Schatten der Feigenbäume“ back
E perdeu toda a esperança
I loved so much this cover, can I used it for a video????, I'll put your info in the description box and links

Wer ist hier wegen Shindy? King of rap
Once upon a time, in a far away land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish and unkind.
But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within. And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress.
The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart. And as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there.
Ashamed of his monstrous form, the Beast concealed himself inside his castle with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year.
If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time.
As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast
We need a story telling about the story of Beauty and the beast we need a soundtrack and music for this scenes
I'm becoming obsessed with this
Always loved this piece of music. What a fantastic cover. I actually thought it was the original. Thank you so much for posting this Beauty!
Best Disney intro by far
This is one of the saddest songs my mind can remember

Once upon a time feels at its finest. Such a good memory from my childhood❤
Im Schatten der Feigenbäume
This gives me flashbacks to when my highschool did this for our fall musical. I heard this literally almost every day.
Disney doesn’t make this kind of music anymore. New movies music are just so lack of heart.. no romance at all. I miss Disney’s gold years
OMG u r not the only one! I get goosebumps everytime I hear it. It's magical and I drift into dream land. I was 12 when I first saw beauty & the beast and fell in love with it. This melody hits deep.
