Same here. And some time ago I read an interesting theory; The Piano music represents Bell; it sounds soft, pure, friendly and curious. The deep music represents the beast; it sounds dark, sceptical, depressed and dangerous. Together these two melodies are a symbiosis and it tells a tragic and so wonderful story. It has been my absolute favorite disney story ever since i first saw the movie as a child. Thank you so much for this amazing version of the prologue @MathiasFritsche ❤️

And I don’t know why but…with this piece of music I can feel the pain that the Beast is going throught
this has to be my favorite tune from the film as it evokes the pain of the beast and sorrow of his burden. #NotAllMonstersAreEvil
I still remember when this melody started to play in the theatre at the Broadway musical... I was twelve years old, it was the first Broadway musical I was attending, and it was one of the best days of my life ❤

I have many memories of this movie. As a child I was absolutely terrified by the opening and this music, Maurice getting lost in the forest on his way to the fair (the (music (*) & atmosphere) transition to 'everything's fine' (countryside) to 'something's not right' (forest edge) to 'all hell breaks loose' (deep forest) always felt jarring to me), and above all the Beast 'catching' Maurice sitting in his chair (oh the horror!). The songs are wonderful though and helped me to keep on watching😅
I'm curious now if you can make 'To The Fair - Spooky Forest' (part of the score (*)) even more strange/epic/spooky Mathias😂

Love the Opening Theme Music for Beauty And The Beast… Always loved the suspense-fulness of it but also how it would make you feel kind of intimidated in a way or maybe that’s just me 😅…And how much it draws you in to the point where you find yourself being curious to the point where you just have to and want to know more…to this day BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is and ALWAYS will be My Top FAVORITE Animated Disney Film of All Time whenever I find myself listening to this especially when I watch the movie to this day…🤗💗🤗 it

O my, I never thought anyone would bother with this theme ever, since majority prefers to only do the main theme song.
You have not only fulfilled that wish, but you have created an epic version that stays with you even after it has finished playing. Masterful work there, mate!
Could you take request and try another version of this that resembles the one they used in the live action trailer? It was a little on the high side, with large chorus background.
Also, for something different, I’d love to hear your rendition of Airwolf orchestral theme with chorus! This has never been attempted & I think you’re just the person to attempt it👌🏼

Once upon a time, in a far away land, a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was spoiled, selfish and unkind.
But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift and turned the old woman away. But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.
And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart. And as punishment, she transformed him into a hideous beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there.
Ashamed of his monstrous form, the Beast concealed himself inside his castle with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until his twenty-first year.
If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time.
As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope. For who could ever learn to love a beast?
