Yes, there's still good and beauty in this world. I also have aspergers so in a way I feel you. For me personally, and you might think I'm crazy, but I see beauty in volcanic eruptions. They are destructive, but they also create. Life springs up even more after an eruption ends. You probably heard about the ones near Grindavik in Iceland, right? Between July and September 2024, on one of the livestreams that covers the eruption, we watched a Northern Fulmar chick grow from tiny hatchling to fully grown and first flight, we named her Lola. I found it amazing. That Fulmar pair, chose a hole on a cliff near the eruption area, same hole which formed in November 2023, had an egg, hatched, and baby grew up next to several eruptions and eventually in September left the nest. We all cheered when Lola left that nest on her first flight, many myself included cried. I found it beautiful cause despite the eruptions something beautiful came from it, not only Lola herself but we all sat united watching and hoping she'd actually take flight in the minutes before she did fly, we could see that she was getting ready to do so. I mean, how beautiful was that? A bird uniting hundreds of people, even if it was just for a few minutes.
