- RIP James Earl Jones (1931-2024), who also brought Mufasa to life in Disney's 1994 and 2019 The Lion King. His unforgettable portrayal made the character a timeless symbol of strength, wisdom, and love and inspired this musical tribute.
Rest in peace, old friend, you have completed the Circle of Life. Thank you for all the wonderful memories we have because of you.

After the Vader theme I can’t help but to imagine Mufasa as a noble Jedi who became one with the Force.
Mufasa and Qui Gonn Jinn were essentially the same character. Wise, kind, noble and did what they thought was right. They also meant a lot to the people who knew him. Mufasa was a beloved husband, father and king. Qui Gonn was a son to Dooku, a father to Obi Wan and Anakin, and well respected by the Jedi and the galaxy.
And when both were ruthlessly slain, everything changed forever.
@TimberlakeTigerGirl Which is ironic since Qui-Gon's actor went on to play another iconic Disney lion.
