For the longest, i was apolotical. I knew about some of the politics but was indeffirent. Had no opinion. I started to investigate so much. Look up presidental debates, full speeches, look up presidents executive orders. Etc. 4 years back i voted for the first time in my life. Now at the age of 28. I see the prominence of voting locally and really doing extensive research.

The conversations between older & younger generations don’t look like they’ve progressed AT ALL. Older generations continue to look & talk down on younger generations as if they despise them. Where is that getting us as a whole? Do you think younger generations are going to be receptive to this? Where’s the leadership, accountability, empathy, wisdom, love, perspective, etc in the relationship older generations have with younger people? Anton claims religion, but none of that was Christlike or anything close to it. I’m disappointed that younger people will see this. This only leads to more division.
I totally agree with your statement. I have younger brothers around this young man's age. You can't talk to young people that way and think they're going to listen. Also, most importantly it isn't Christ like to talk to people that way. As a husband I had to learn this with my wife. Yelling to get my point across doesn't work haha.

No politician is getting us out of this mess we're in. On a Local level maybe, but the best thing to do in that situation is move around like minded people. I live in Chicago and I lean more conservative. There's almost no chance a conservative wins, so way even bother.

As a dude who grew up as a Jehovah Witness but been gone for 20 years, and a dude who got registered to vote in 2001 at college but never voted once, what have I been missing out on... It's been a long time since I read the Bible but how does being a Cristian and following politics match? Godly vs Worldy was what I was taught at a younger age... To Keon's defense, I had similar outlook when I was in my early 20s. I was bitter about not making enough money. Then I got older and started making more money then I started to get more informed about things. It will come a point of time in his life he will look back and be disappointed he didn't make a stronger effort. I voted in 2008 for the first time and I was 26 years old. I voted for Obama and I ended up regretting the vote a few years later once obamacare was implemented. I saw my healthcare costs shoot up like a rocket. It was at that point I started to pay attention and realized I need to align myself with a different party.
I’m sure this has been said 100 times, but this is why our black society is gone and why we’re the most disrespected and stereotyped race in this country!
