I mean, points for effort. So many points for effort. There’s a lot of issues both in terms of craft and halo lore, but I’m giving them the credit they deserve. You guys tried, and I applaud you for that.
Spartan's have never been recalled, in fact the exsistance of Spartans was kept under wraps for a very long time, including how they were trained and taken from their families as children. Also in the beginnin their were photos of Spartans, due to the fact that whenever they go into combat their work is usually classified, even if not, photo's of Spartans were not allowed to be taken. And further fucking more, the fucking guy has his Spartan armor at his house, they weren't allowed to bring ONI or UNSC gear home.
Natertot I made a wooden halo assault rifle and I nearly cut my thumb off but the end result was worth it and it is part of my halo display and you are very good and memories from halo and that is another trade of your personality i love halo 😊
Apart from the halo universe storyline errors like Spartans having a family or that his dad was in full combat suit AT HOME, the movie is excellent. Brilliant piece of movie making. The effects especially. And all this being done on a meagre budget.. hats off..
Although I personally think it could have used some improvements (such as more plasma/gunfire effects, maybe even people in Covenant costumes or just inserted models like the Banshees and the Cruiser) this was really excellent.
I'm still trying to figure out why the "Spartan" was all geared up in his home? Seriously peoole, that gear requires 4 or 5 technicians and hydraulic machines to put on. And there's the fact that they think the UNSC let alone ONI would let this dude just bring home the most sophisticated suit of armor ever made and chill with it in his house
i fucking lost it when his dad walked in his room dressed in in his Mjolnir armor, like he just had it chillin in his closet until it was time to use it again. I like to think when his dad walked outside to get in his car to drive off that he had a cup of coffee and had to pull the trash around, then proceeded to get in his car which is an 80s hatchback and waving to his neighbor who just walked outside to get the morning paper
He was a 3 I think because raising a 6 year old to be a spartan took too long usually,so instead they were probably volunteers. That explains the spartan having a family
probably they got newspaper because the newspaper early the first covenant attack and maybe the newspaper are for ancients or,why im triying to solve the question?
I think he means 7.62x51mm which is what the assault rifle in Halo is chambered in. BTW the 51mm is the length of the casing while 7.62 is the diameter (.30 Cal or about 3 inches)
I knew what he meant as I said you would specify the diameter, not the length. Now that I read my comment again I see how you could be confused as to what I said. What you said is what I meant. I was sarcastically saying how what the guy in the film said that the bullet was 51mm, while in real life you would say 7.62x51mm or just simply 7.62.
this may have not been the best, but they did a good job with what they had, and I respect that, it wasn't bad for a low budget fan film, but I would have liked to seen better lore alignment.
wth? okay, these guys have the transportation, the props, the crew, the tech, the gear, the cameras, they have all the essentials. i always make my movies on a very low budget, but hell, i can make a much better video. dunno why this has over 1.6 million views... i dont have a crew, i dont have transportation, i have barely any props, i have a bit of gear, and i have an old cannon elura 100. i made my own stabilizer rig for my camera outta pvc and small weights, i make my own props, and i use old air soft guns. im using *iMovie 6*. do u know how bad that is? give me iMovie 11 and a new mac and i bet u i can make a better movie than this... o yea, and dont forget the makeup artist...

Smiley Smurf volunteers? i know your correct but i dont know why anyone would volunteer for an expirement that has a 70% risk of them dying. but i guess people arent gonna be sissies in the future. they fight for honor
So this kid's Spartan dad goes off to war when the Covenant attack. Then the kid's father died and they have a funeral for him (Spartans never die?). Then the kid joins a UNSC military academy and he trains with what appears to be Tippman paintball guns. Then he is saved during combat by a Spartan who's voice sounds like he's calling to demand ransom money...... Where do I begin with this? :P Honestly though, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this video. Cheezy effects and all. :P
You ever played or watched some guy play Halo Reach? Well most of the the Spartans in Noble Team died but were designated MIA (Missing in action). Every dead spartan is listed as MIA not KIA (Killed in action) to uphold the tradition of "Spartans Never Die" and the rest of that line is "They're just missing in action"
The reason why they listed Spartans IIs as MIA was to uphold moral. By listing them as MIA instead of KIA, officially no Spartan IIs ever died. It was to give a mystique of invincibility to them to inspire the other marines. By having a funeral for a dead Spartan, it makes the whole MIA thing pointless. A Spartan II would never receive a funeral. :P
If he was a Spartan-IV, then he would have been able to see his family and have a funeral. I guess you're right that Spartan-IIs and Spartan-IIIs wouldn't have one. Spartan-IVs were volunteers so they would have had a funeral and could have seen their family.

I’m very surprised they used an AR Rifle in the simulation.
That fire arm is about 300 to 400 century’s old. If my calculations if correct.
Are you saying its called a assault rifle rifle?
Y mean 3 to 4 centuries and 300 to 400 years I asume?
It’s 300 and 400 not 3000 and 4000
Ar doesn’t stand for assault rifle
It was a tipmann paintball gun based on the M16 platform.
This was pretty nice for a short budget such as yours! :D
Even though it was on a short budget, it is pretty decent. Good job.

12 years and this is still the best video ever I have seen for halo
