And that song was one of the pieces they 'd written ... The original song was sung by Suzanne Sundfor . Was an absolute hit ! Floor 's recreation cover of that song , took it to higher level... Really loved the original 2013 song by Suzanne's high and emotional voice , but adore it very much from the queen Floor Jansen ! 🤘

The original singer is a Norwegian Susanne Sundfør and it's from the scifi movie "Oblivion" (2013), starring the action hobbit Tom Cruise. This is an excellent cover with some more weight and lot's of Floor's vocal colouring. And cool room with Genelec studio monitors, handmade in Iisalmi, Finland - about 100 miles from where i reside (sorry, a little patriotic ad 😔).

Fun fact for you to know, the guy that hav done the music for her on this and an other cover for Floor is Tommy Johansson. I have seen that you have check a couple of different groups that he have been involved in in some or an other way apart from that he is one of the guitarist in Sabaton, he have also done something that he could Swedish hits goes metal, and Reinxeed, he was could Tommy "Reinxeed" Johansson back then. But it's more with this guy, you also have seen him in Golden Resurrection on guitar, and then he have a side project on the side of Sabaton where he play guitar and sing that he could Majestica. And when you react to Above The Sky by them Susis reaction was priceless when she heard his voice. Keep up the good work, Peace.
The more I listen to this song the more I imagine some Maurice Binder visuals to go along with it. (Maurice Binder is the guy what designed the title sequences of 16 Bond movies including the very first one.) And I think we can say that both Floor and Tarja would make great singers for future Bond songs. Since first discovering NW and Floor, I’ve come to believe she is the best voice in METAL... this cover made me eat my words...she’s the best voice PERIOD!! Full stop! One of the other comments suggested that the only thing better than Floor singing, is Floor providing her own backup vocals! Pure, unadulterated magic. One of your contemporaries, Chase Carneson, says he believes in magic, because he’s heard Simone (Simons) sing....Simone is definitely in a class of her own, but this, THIS IS MAGIC!! The instrumentation is perfect (I’ve heard rumors she knows some pretty good musicians) and as far as I’m concerned, this song has only one version, this one. I’ve been rocking since before I was born (my father was a pretty good guitarist 60 some years ago) and since starting the deep dive on NW, have started loving music again. The American music industry has become stale, for the most part, and we had to leave CONUS to reinvigorate the talent pool.
