Moral of the story: Perform scientific experiments on yourself, invite a supernatural entity that haunts you, defeat it by apologizing and get off with absolutely no consequences. Great movie.

But instead of another 'The Fly' remake where they could have taken this idea to its full potential, they just decided to make another 10s cash grab horror shlock. What a waste.

Its not a remake apparently, mainly because Kiefer Sutherland is coming back in the same role he played in the original. I watched this trailer as an ad and I was so excited for the first 10 seconds because I thought this movie was using death grips for the trailer theme.
This is a pretty good movie, I did not think it was bad at all. I have not seen the original one yet so I can’t compare it to the original movie, but I thought it was pretty good. a re-make... cool! but the white you see in front while fading in the dream is the senses / brain no longer processing data as pulse, oxygen, pressure etc decreases and then you start hallucinating but the brain like a hard drive is already prep for death as much as when you are born and starts taking data in.. I know because that's what I experienced and when I almost died by hospital mistake ... I saw the distortion as to when my brain was no longer processing information and then the white and at the same time I could no longer feel my body...
TheOne Of course, all experiences will be different and how people will perceive them to then explain them according to what they saw... How long does it take for the brain to actually shutdown completely after flatline? A couple of minutes, perhaps the brain is still recording receiving data / then some memories on top of when the body is shutting down is what people remember they think they saw ... I can remember clearly a distortion before the white and its an experience I will never forget besides, it was peaceful.
A dentist forgot me under the sweet gas 40 years ago. I saw an overview of myself and felt that my soul(?) had to leave but no exits available. I was pissed the way I died especially knowingly that my old man was in the waiting room - waiting for me. I woke up with the dentist slapping my face with a very worried look and another patient over him with same expression. I got high many times before and after that time. This was not a high. And I know death is not the end.
That is not a fair takeaway from the situation you described. Your brain never died during this circumstance. Even if you are unconscious or your heart beat stops for a prolonged period of time, that does not mean your brain has died. The reason we know this is because once a neuron dies, it cannot produce electrical signals anymore.. this is different from your heart, where it is simply a pump.. a pump can stop working and then start back up again if it receives signals, but when the source of the signals (the brain) dies, it cannot send anymore signals. Therefore, we know that during this situation, your brain was still functioning. The brain is capable of giving us incredibly complex experiences. So yes, what you experienced was not anything like being high, but it was certainly created/hallucinated by the brain. Therefore, it cannot be used as a good representation of what will happen after death because when that occurs, the brain dies as well.

well let me give you a hint, first you have to pause it right at 42 seconds so it means you have to go to 40 secs then hit pause. Then on the bottom left you will see something like the phonetical sound of the first 3 letters of my screen name. If that doesn't help I can't help you anymore.
well let me ask you this how old are you? It one of those things only an experienced eye will catch. Sort of like those pictures that are of a old woman and a young lady.
The second half of this trailer is unintentionally hilarious with the staccato opera singing edited to these quick cuts. Someone needs to do a parody, but re-record someone singing: "please bring my coffee" "please bring my coffee" "please bring my coffee" "please bring my coffee"
Flatliners is an upcoming 2017 American science fiction psychological horror film directed by Niels Arden Oplev and written by Ben Ripley. what the hell is that, is this a disney movie????
What is at the bottom left corner...I dont ,understand
well let me give you a hint, first you have to pause it right at 42 seconds so it means you have to go to 40 secs then hit pause. Then on the bottom left you will see something like the phonetical sound of the first 3 letters of my screen name. If that doesn't help I can't help you anymore.
Pnscar Doe I did pause at 42 second and I still don't see anything
well let me ask you this how old are you? It one of those things only an experienced eye will catch. Sort of like those pictures that are of a old woman and a young lady.
i came here for Death Grips
FlashRave me too man I heard the opening chords and my balls tingled
I AM THE BEAST I WORSHIP
And death grips sampled up the beach from janes addiction - get a clue
I'm well aware
Mini Ho expecting people to know everything you know will drive you crazy man
The second half of this trailer is unintentionally hilarious with the staccato opera singing edited to these quick cuts. Someone needs to do a parody, but re-record someone singing:
"please bring my coffee"
"please bring my coffee"
"please bring my coffee"
"please bring my coffee"
haha! yes! Either "everything wrong with " or "cinema sins"!! Surprised they`ve not done it yet:)
Flatliners is an upcoming 2017 American science fiction psychological horror film directed by Niels Arden Oplev and written by Ben Ripley. The film is a sequel to the 1990 film of the same name, and stars Ellen Page, ... role from the original film, revealing that the new film would actually be a sequel rather than a remake. (just to clear it up for the ones who say it is a remake )
