On the US show this format was based on, Card Sharks, there was one case where all the 3's in the deck came up one right after the other. All the contestant left with was the $200 he originally started with.
That was why they ended up changing that push rule to where nothing was won or lost when that happened in the US. That was the incident that sparked the rule change, actually. never liked that rule where you could lose on a push.
This is like me on the stock market.
Better than stock market lmfao
That had to be the most unluckiest game ever
2:04 So THIS is when the podium first said "BUST"!
The Only Series the podium said BUST unless they did it again in the 2002 series!
Oh, Bruce. I LOVED it when you say that catchphrase.
I miss Bruce he was a brilliant entertainer
Poor Brucie was getting so old he often almost dropped the card instead of putting it on the board.
he still nearly had 20 years doing TV in him, this was 1999, he died in 2017, he did Strictly upto 2013
@@davidrenton Well thats 14 years then not almost 20 as after he left Strictly he was rarely on TV.
If only the UK version had the push rule on double cards, likely it wouldn't have made a difference but still.
That last one, you'd have thought they'd have learnt their lesson from the first row. At least give yourself £100 for the last one!
The Price is Right (US) losing horn scene. Also, Card Sharks losing horn scene.
Now my crew has high cover and low (underworld) cover
0:13
The bird and other animal sorcerer? Or was snakes on a plane? I'm confused now please update system

There was at least one game where they were BUST before even completing the 1st Row so had to be moved up immediately to the 2nd Row!
Bruce’s ...”I’m not amused” ... for me, was a poke at the production team. Made him look a right git, heads will roll.
Good god,that was painful.😅
THAT ACE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SWITCHED
Why would you want to if it's a good card
Maybe on that Queen of Clubs they should've bet a little more sensibly but they were some terrible cards!
Good ol diamond head brucie bonus
Just horrendous luck
