Awesome build!!! I did my first one about a year ago. Everything you said in the video is so true... I ran into the same issues... I did a 49 chevy fleetline on a 2002 Lincoln Chassis. Cant wait to do my next one.
That's pretty sweet! Would love to see it. Eventually I want to do another Studebaker with something faster. After dealing with this cougar I learned about the thunderbird Super Coupes that came supercharged and with a manual trans. I've seen a handful of them pop up in good condition for around 2k
@@dannork1240 do it! I see them go cheap all the time with crash damage. I’ve even gotten one with a hemi before that just needed head gaskets for $1000. The whole thing cost me like $500 and I was doing bald eagle things in no time🫡
Width between ikd and new cars is always an issue. Welding in braces to keep things square when you move them is very important. Looks like you cut a lot of strictural metal out of that chassis.
@AgatasKatkus can't wait for that Bro...you making me want to start back on the wide body crew cab Caprice project I have going on again. Been slacking on it for about a year now 😂
@@AgatasKatkus But good job on the car. Should be a cool ride. Studebaker is a underrated car in my opinion. Good choice. Should last you many years. Good luck.
@AgatasKatkus if you halve the volume of the music while you're talking, it would be helpful. The sequences where you're working and not talking, it's fine
Thanks for the input! I'm planning on getting some good headphones here soon, I think that my laptop speakers aren't representing the audio very well while I'm editing😥 @@talltom1129
I didn't mind the music. I watch on a large TV with a nice stereo that differentiates the audio. It might make a difference in what device each person is watching on
Good stuff! I love weird body swaps
Appreciate you!

You did the whole swap in one vid. Awesome work and really cool project to swap. Intro was 👌🏻
Subbed 👊🏻
Thanks for the sub! I’m trying out new editing techniques every video. Trying to keep them interesting🦖
I keep looking at my rusty 56 Studebaker and wondering what modern floor pan I could plop it onto…
Lexus ls400 would be my suggestion🙈
@@AgatasKatkus well those are 113” and my car is 120”. But a Chrysler 300 is 120.2… baaaaad ideas are happening 😁

Ive got the same car that was swapped onto a 79 malibu chassis back in the 90s.

Very true! I’ve been learning a lot along the journey of building this so the next one I do will be way better🦕

Mr. George
Straight up Mr George
The new guy🤚
The music was very annoying. Best to have no music if that's all you have. And yes I have a volume button.
Appreciate the feedback! Still figuring this out🧑🎓
