Wow, mate that’s one of the best conversions I’ve seen! Compared to the other big channel’s work, yours is tip top! I can only imagine the cost of that job😳.congratulations
Thank you for the uplifting words, this is one of several I have on my channel, currently building a 2013-14 mustang body swap with a new dynacorn body
Good work nicely put together but i wouldn't exactly call that a body swap. I done something similar to this with a 99 mustang i gutted it and put everything in a 88 Thunderbird. Dash, seats, wiring, k member, driveline, and suspension. Had to cut the spot on fire wall to make steering column work. Brakes and pedals are from the mustang as well
It needs new rims, sorry those rims lookes cheap, it doesn't go with the ride And the ride needs to be lowered like 2 inches.... don't get me wrong, the ride is Exceptional amazingly built Great job....
Really great job! Could you please share how you solved the fiberglass hood hinge issue -- usually the hinges that are strong enough to hold the fiberglass hood open are too strong to allow it to sit down when closed without the hood bending and making a bulge above the fender line. Thank you.
Beautiful car! Can't wait to see the 13 mustang project finished. I do have a question about the price of a project like this. I would love to make my 2013 mustang look like this in the next couple of years
Well let’s break it down just as a rough estimate if you do it yourself to say meaning no labor. To buy all the body panels, wheels, suspension upgrades, interior panels needed, lights, miscellaneous items such as hinges, latches, grills and bumpers and such, you will have roughly 20-30k in building one of these cars if you dont go crazy and want a standard body swap, if your looking into a Shelby tribute like mine it’s a bit higher. Wheels and trim and scoops and things cost a bit more but at the end of the build you have a car worth upwards of 200k
this is awesome! 30-40k to have a tribute but you also get a much nicer and newer platform. Do you do these swaps for customers? what would your labor be for a body swap? like a 66 to a 2018 for example lol @@1194video
That looks amazing!! Great work. Was thinking of doing the same on my 2002 Mustang... How did you adjust the 67 body at 108" wheel base to fit the 101" of the 2002? That is the part I just cannot figure without cutting and shortening the panels. 100% top tier!!
Well to do a body swap conversion it’s still a ton of custom work, we can not build the movie car look alike anymore due to it being copyrighted now but body swaps are ok
@@1194video Okay, so are you saying the car shown in your video is a movie car style build then? I realize that it is a lot of work but was just trying to get an idea of about what the conversion would cost me?
What I’m saying is basically, I’m not sure what it’s worth because I’ve only worked on my own cars as a hobby and that the cost is high for parts especially in today’s market if you were building one yourself personally, I work a full-time job and only do car builds on the weekends when I get time off kinda at my own leisure
That is beautiful i used to have a 69 mach 1 i always thout 67 to 70 were the nicest body styles, a resto mod mustang is my dream car but unless you can do all the work yourself its high pricwd for most people, it would of been nice if your donor was one year newer svt cobra even wrwcked that wouldn't be cheap . That would reallly look sweet parked beside my 2019 roush f150 grey metallic i only have 20,000 miles on it .
Very slick work, but literally anything but a 2v. Amazed by the craftsmanship, but I bet this thing is slow. 197s are slow, and they had 70 more HP and a lot less steel
It’s not about being fast, it’s about being reliable and fun to drive. I have a few Coyote swapped 67s and that wasn’t about being fast they only have 450 ho to the flywheel, not anything that’s going to break your neck from a red light
No they lost that case the car is not the same one. The original car in gone in 60 seconds original film does not look anything like it. They don't own the movie character car.
Beautiful job man, the cleanest body swap yet.🎉
That was a lot of work, good work well done.
Fabrication skills are on another level, excellent build. 🐎
Nice work!!!!.....Beautiful car I love the 67 body
Absolutely beautiful job building this car! Wow!

Excellent build
Super nice, best I have seen so far
A true thing of beauty, well done guys
so talented that car is stunning great job anyone would be happy to own that
GORGEOUS!!! I would have chosen different rims, but gorgeous none the less.
The car since the video has been lowered and a different set of wheels
That is a beautiful build, with meticulous work. You should be commended and proud of your work. Carrol Shelby would have like what you created.
Thank you! I’m currently building a full body swap on a 2013-14 mustang using a new 1967 body
I love your wonderful accent! I’ve only heard it on films before! 🙏🖖

I no longer buy the glass hoods, they don’t line up and are terrible fit, go steel and save time
You did an amazing job & finish!
How long did this rebuild take you to finish?
They usually take 6 months

Looks amazing!
Can you do a video on cutting a dash down to fit in a classic car and where to cut them
I did on my last video of the 2013 body swap. Back in July. I’ll post more soon
I want it!
Very nice ! It is for sale ?

Great job! Which fiberglass Eleanor kit are you using?
It’s called a Supersnake kitt from Texas
Para el año 2003 estaria bien. Hoy ya es anticuado o fuera de lugar para los estandares actuales
Well that’s why I have coyote swaps too lol
Awesome work. Curious if this car would be registered as the 67 or the 04?
1967. You have to title a car based off what the body is not the frame

Nice clean job but i think if you lower it more it will looks amazing
It has been since video and the wheels have been changed out
It's a good job on what you're doing with building in Eleanor don't you think it would be proper to put a GT500 engine in it to?
The 69 body swap was on a gt500
