I don't think it would work actually. It's been built in a purposefully mismatched way, like it would be if you had no choice but to use whatever parts you could find. A clean paintjob would make it too clean for the aesthetic they were going for
Even just a simple matte black would make it look even better.

They should be flattered the Legal Beagles moved in on them so quickly... While "B-S", it shows their "mad skillz" and they're not to be taken lightly as "car-smiths..." I think their build would've looked better anyway.

If I’m gonna be honest I don’t think he’s in it for a lot of money. I think he enjoys his job, his friendship, and being around cool cars. The money is just an additional motivator.
His fab skills are insane.
That being said his design skills are lacking.

Although you love the patina look, I really think it would be awesome if it was given a nice paint job to bring it all together, rather than look so disjointed. Great work either way.

This is something I've dreamed about for years. The old on the outside with the new on the inside. So perfect. If I could afford one of these, I would get one.

A version of the Gulf livery would be cool. Matt or satin finish. Number panels could have a zero/0 for Oscar.

I love the vintage interior in a modern car but modified to have modern functionality hidden in it..lets say having the vintage radio knobs and buttons controlling the audio

I saw my 1st skyline R34GTR when I was in okinawa Japan and I and I saw my 1st R35 not long after one came out, I never cared for the R35 styling so this car is quite possibly the marriage of every desire I could possibly have for a car. Beautiful work guys absolutely beautiful.

He pretty much does. Same thing with most drag cars. A guy pays for the car and pays for the mechanic(s) to build and maintain the car. The car is still the driver’s car even though he doesn’t do the majority or in some cases any of the work on the car. While I don’t know how much Oscar is being paid, I assure you he’s most likely being very well paid to do his job. And some guys just love working on cars and knowing someone will pay them to do this kind of stuff is a dream job for them.

Diggin' the the idea of the old body on the new Stang chasis. Love the 5.0! Sorry though, Not diggin' the fender flares with rocker pieces. Needs to be connected. Looks disjointed. Paint the whole thing too.

Talk to your paint store and see if they have a non penetrating reducer for the jamb areas it will help prevent lifting and wrinkling, also applying a non sanding sealer first will save you a lot of work and prevent you from having to re- sand and re-paint again, sanding in areas like jambs with all the curves and uneven surfaces is difficult with sand paper, maroon 3M scotchbrite pads work great in those areas, talk to your paint rep about the best materials for your specific application it can make the job a lot easier.

@@blvckskull7954 Easy, just clearcoat with a pure matte finish. Keeps the patina and protects the panels, and stops the shine to keep the rough apocalypse look as if the clear coat was all stripped off by nuclear winter or something XD
