I've been pacing the floor waiting for an update. I've got exactly the same car, exactly the same chassis...I guess I'm waiting for YOU to make all the mistakes first! Looks like things are coming along really well. It motivates me! Thanks! - Tom in Texas
Thanks for the video on the amazing chassis and drivetrain swap. Such a great idea and execution. Question is the 47 a prewar design carried over from 42? Because I recall new larger rear taillights in 48 then the 49s were redesigned.
Guys how come you are not painting any of the door jams on the old Buick, and you are putting new interior in it right. The Body was off the chassis, why wasn’t sandblasted and painted,at least the inside would look nice, when the doors are open
The customer didn’t want to go that distance on this car. The ol’ Buick really has no rust except the surface rust. The interior is actually done now and he is driving the car. I didn’t get any pics of the interior after it was completed. The car will get painted later. He drove it to Vegas for Viva last April.
The 94’ was a throttle body injected and the donor car I bought was a theft recovery. Some stuff was missing including the computer and I just didn’t feel like chasing parts down to complete a throttle body system. If it was the 95-96 then it would have had the z28 style system and that would have been different.
My hands get painted a lot when I’m holding small parts. It seems to stick to my nails more than the skin when I wash my hands. Either that or I’m ……..
I am the shop painter too. They don’t always get cleaned on time before the paint hardens. Either that or I’m metro-sexual. Sometimes I wear my high heals when I’m painting tall vehicles!!😆😆
Nice car! Always loved these old big bodies!
East coast to west coast driving machine! I like it!!
Well you now have a new model on the roads. Its buicad. Love these old cars. Nice job.

Eso es patina real ,no oxido. 👍🎥
Sí. pero es muy superficial. Sería fácil de limpiar para barr metal.

Yea the Caddy chassis worker out well.
Some of those freeway scenes came out awesome! It looks so smooth gliding by cars in the middle lane. Did you get the steering column worked out?
It was the cameraman’s concentration and steady hand!
Is the Buick not fitted with indicators on your drive !?
No we were having issues with the brake and taillights. It’s all good now

On thing is for sure. As my father in law used to say, “I’ll bet that thing rides like a Cadillac”. 😊
Great job, my only question is why not fuel injection engine
