Thanks for another fantastic trip down memory lane ! It always make me smile to see so many vintage drag cars and hot rods still looking good, running fast, and making noise !
Thank you very much for the video and the time that went into it and all the photographing and putting the video together editing look like a lot of fun
Lots of awesome cars!! I'm really glad there are so many keeping our racing history alive. And automotive history in general as well. Thanks for sharing!! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Ricky Neal is the man that deserves the credit for the paint and lettering work on that Super Duster. He helped with the recreation of that out of the Memphis area where the original one was campaigned out of.
Truly excellent coverage, I plan on doing this event with my brothers on the HAMB with my 1930 ford altered drag car from the 60's. Thanks again for the video. Mike
Another great video Tommy Lee! 😎 We have the California Hot Rod Reunion October 25 - 27 in Bakersfield. The March Meet, first week of March in Bakersfield. It would been amazing to see you there! 🔥 🤓 😎 🤓 🔥
You always do a fantastic job with your videos. Thank you for sending me over to throttle power. Eventually I am going to put together an old drag car that my Grandfather used to work on....You have the connections to have some of the best writing on your Gassser...Looking forward to it...
Love the closeup at 5:42. I'm in Britain and building a blown 354 hemi with a 4 port Hilborn. Curious how it's plumbed because my hat only has the above blower metering block with no provision for port nozzles.
Back at The Beginning of Funny Cars,, We Watched this car at LIONS DRAG STRIP IN WILMINGTON, CA.. MANY SATURDAY NIGHTS, SInce Dougs Headers was only miles away in SoCal back then...
Right lane clock display is all goofy. Decimal in the wrong place and a blank space between hundredths and thousandths. On runs over 10 seconds the 1 is off the board like at 16:17 where it looks like they went 10.190 on a 10.00 breakout. I think I am able to read the time at least....
>>*AT TIME STAMP (5:03) You mentioned Chute Pack Body.. The cars that had that Look. THEY Were Referred to As A Tail.. Just Sayin. Very Popular on The West Coast. Hanna Created Some..
I enjoy the older cars myself. What l really miss is surface rust. Surface rust wasn't always a good thing but l thought it looked cool. Shame it's been forgotten.
Great video man, i would love to build some replicas out of this video, especially the lyndwood dragster, pretty cool stuff, lot of parts to scratch build there and make a show piece, if you can, i like to pursuit that project, hope you can help me
My phone is a supplement to my cameras (2 cameras complementing themselves with zoom and night/low light), ill use it if I don't have the cameras with me but not to video.

Was the Super Duster in 2 Lane Blacktop?
@robertgrant4501 yes but that was prior to Grooms taking over as the driver. Gary Henderson was still driving when Two-Lane Blacktop was filmed
@@zerrohalfcup Thanks for the information

Wow, good video, some really great hot rods. That Street Roadster sure looks like a Travis "Tuki" Hess paint job.
Jim Boitnott owns it and painted it

There's a Super Duster in the final drag race scene in Two lane blacktop.

Is there Anyway you can edit the part with my blue Willys gasser pickup at the 9 minute mark and make a “Short” out of it?
Do you think you can do a video on Dover drag strip
