We’ll answer questions about traveling with a dog around Australia, camp cooking, our favourite places to camp, the cost of travel, why we started vanlife in the first place, and so much more!

Thanks for checking out the episode really appreciate it. There are definitely pros and cons to have a campervan or a caravan. For quick travels the campervan seems to suit us. Just quick and easy to hit the road and get out there but if you’re going to do more long stays I think that’s where a caravan is better. Good luck with your decision. congratulations guys on the 5k ..interesting video. i especially like the bit about it doesn't matter where you go.. i have found so many little places in victoria that are gems ,and yes some only a have 6 streets or less lol.Victoria has so much to offer.

The stick shed is in a little tiny town but has quite a bit to do deathly watch the full episode of us in Matawa. We stayed on the lake there. Thanks for watching the episode really appreciate it.

I hate camping, you get dirty and if it rains, yuck. We’ve had motorhomes, big ones and medium size ones. Big caravans and medium, at the moment we have a small van and to be honest it’s the best we’ve had but yeah like you now it’s just taking the basics and it makes it so easy. We travel with two dogs, one small and one medium still the small van is big enough. When I think of the stuff we had in that big motorhome it was crazy. Thanks for the toilet app I didn’t know about that. Basic is so easy. Yeah meet up but not with such a high number of subscribers, to many people. Again great video guys. ❤️
I’m hearing you definitely not a fan of big vehicles although that works for some people specially when you’re selling your house and travelling full-time. Adam and I love our van and even if we got a new modern van would still go the same size we Love to be able to park in town in a normal car park. We don’t need much as long as the road together we Twyla we’re happy. But like I was saying it depends on what you want some people Love to have big roomy vans but that’s just not us. We only have 5000 subscribers which we really appreciate but the same time maybe once we hit 10,000 will think about having a meet up. Trust me we’re not that exciting to meet. lol People we find exciting people watches we love meeting people that follow us and finding out what they’re all about. Emilies throw is beautiful. The doggy first aid kit another great tip and have you been to ben halls hide out near grenfell nsw. If not go in spring or Autum as it gets raging hot out that way.

Great episode , we are currently selling our caravan , when we do, we will be getting ourselves a campervan . In the meantime, we have hired a campervan for 2 weeks to see what we can and can not live without. It should be interesting. Thanks for all your videos. We love watching them. My son and I would love to do a camp or meet up one day. You would love Uluru, we went in 2021, did a 10 day Ghan with a lot of tours, activities. Its pretty far from Alice Springs approx 4 hrs but Alice Springs is not a town I would want to visit again unless some serious improvements happen. Uluru and Simpson Gap and surrounding areas are gorgeous day and night. There is alot of things to explore from nature, art installations, dinner at the rock under the stars. Truly incredible experience. We went April and had nets, there was not too many flies.

Great ep and happy 3rd anniversary! ❤ I have the 'field guard head sheild by outfox' from Puss n Pooch too for Phoebe, it works great for flies, preventing her from eating bait or other things she shouldnt, and it is also good keeping grass seeds out of eyes, mouth and nose (what it was originally made for). Highly recommend. Only downside to a traditional muzzel is that it is hard to drink through for her and also no way to give treats. But otherwise a really good product 👍 You guys need to get over to Tassie, the free camping is awesome! And Id love to have a meet up but too hard from Darwin at the moment 😫

Have you ever been to Loch. It is a small town in south east Gippsland. Great eating places and a few other shops. There is a distillery open Friday Saturday Sunday. And I think there is a winery. Not sure about that. But a really nice town. Think you can camp on edge of town.

Hi guys what's your favourite campervan if you could pick on
We definitely have many camper vans we love but definitely check out the emu RV episode we have visited these guys many times at the caravan show and they have such an amazing van. I will definitely say they are not budget they are high-quality and if we had the money I’ll definitely buy one. But if it’s not in your price range, there’s definitely a lot out there to look at including secondhand.. that’s what Adam and I have done and we still enjoying our adventures after three years in our old Ford transit camper van. Anybody can do what we can do from sleeping in the back of the car attend an old van or a secondhand one like ours you can do it. Good luck and safe travels.

We love our van and we love our van size. If we were to upgrade will definitely stay the same size. We find it very convenient to be able to park anywhere in a town without him to park a mile away to fit a van in this is mainly because we only travel weekends, if we were setting up for weeks at a time, maybe then we would consider a bigger van. For someone who is retiring and travelling around Australia definitely recommend going bigger and taking a car along with them. But for us this is perfect for what we do. Where is the dog backpack from again?
It’s a canine dog backpack. Our version is a sport sack. If you look up that name on the Internet, you should be able to find a shop that stocks it we brought out from Sydney but you should be able to find one in your state.
