In this episode, we travel in our converted Ford Transit campervan, with our dog, to free camp at Mt Alexander in Victoria, Australia. In this episode, we show you how to make campfire Witchetty grub
soup and a twist on hashbrowns .The soup is so easy to make, goes far, and tastes great! Just pair it with some fresh crusty bread. Also we cook curry sausages in our campervan.
The camping area, Leanganook Campground is located off Joseph Young Drive in the Mount Alexander Regional Park.
Multiple campsites are spread around the central picnic area, and facilities include picnic tables, wood fire barbecues, fire pits, toilets, and water taps.
Visitors can enjoy Mount Alexander Regional Park through picnicking, bushwalking, and birdwatching.
The best part is it’s dog friendly camping ground.
Beautiful views can be appreciated from multiple nearby lookout points including Lang's Lookout, Dog Rocks, and Shepherd's Flat.

Ah! I was hoping Adam would get some fresh bread nothing like it! .Soup looked yum! I do curried sausages & all sorts of vegetables in my slow cooker Yum. Your visitors meal looked yum also, lovely cooking around a camp fire. I have those coffee bags on our boat, so easy to use & good flavour. Been out for a few years now. Hi Elaine, we did have a loaf from the Castlemaine bakery, something with some poppy-seeds but forgot to bring it out. Yeah, those coffee bags are pretty handy too, we had a friend give us a packet and they've come in handy. Yes, and our neighbors were friendly too! Adam
Robert Timms coffee bag is the best when u want a quick fix for coffee! Been using iot for camping, bike riding picnic trip, or just at home😊

Great episode but next time U do Curry sausages do PORK ones much better taste and as Curry gets into the snags big time and U don't do tomato at all.just vegs and curry paste with cornflour or flour to thinken also you need rice for the under...the potato hassbrowns look good...with the bacon and eggs.. your dog it hubby girl big time...love it...❤❤❤

I would say about half an hour to prep and probably an hour to an hour and a half half of cooking time just make sure you keep steering every so often to stop it from sticking in the bottom. it’s hard to give it an exact time. It all depends on your fire and how hot it is. Thanks for watching if you do it. I hope you enjoy. Regards Deano
