This is a classic snack which my brothers and I used to make as very young kids decades ago . We used butter which come in very large liter cans from NZ, and the dough is leavened by yeast. We lived down south of the Philippines . Thanks for bringing me back down memory lane.

I remembered so well when i was young around 8years old my neighbor used to bake anything their buko tart so unforgettable taste but this gurguryas is so memorable for me because my neighbor ask my help for their bulk orders and we are like playing only upon rolling the dough on the fork then afterwards they gave me and the taste so amazing,i thought that time is so so profitable for me and memorable because of this gurguryas and we played after.
