I made this recipe last night.. thanks for the tip. I used heavy cream (35% fat) instead of condensed milk due to the condensed milk sugar contents - my people who love this dessert are diabetic so I have to sub the dairy content and then use powder allulose or stevia as the sweetener, then xanthan gum for thickener substituting cornstarch (still starch bad for diabetics). I used two separate flavors, the coconut flavor, and the vanilla flavor. On the coconut flavor, I added small chunks of buko, coconut flakes, small diced macadamia, and small chunks of pineapple Drizzled coconut flakes around the brazo, using the whipped cream as glue. On the Vanilla flavor, I added minced strawberries and blueberries.. OMG! I created a great one that in 5 minutes of serving my guests, my BdeM disappeared from the serving tray.. Thank you!
