@@mohitmkkumar3898 they don't know anything. It's just not about them, accept this fact. We Indians know a lot more about the American culture than Americans themselves so don't unnecessarily pity them.
@@str3672 that's because Americans and the West in general are great at marketing. Everyone knows that carbon-di-oxide is bad for you. But when Coca Cola put carbon-di-oxide and sugar in a bottle the whole world bought it. It is only now that we are taking systems like Yoga and Ayurveda to the world. So it will take a while for the rest of the world to appreciate what India has on offer. There is a reason why Indians know more about American culture. Firstly, there are quite a few Indians that grew up watching some American TV. Secondly, some people took up jobs in call centres or BPO type jobs and had to learn about American culture as part of their jobs. Also, a lot of engineers in India aspire to study their Master's degrees in America and hence do the necessary research required for their study. There are various types of red chillies, Kashmiri is one of them. Kashmiri is used for colour but in Rajasthan people don't use it much as in Rajasthan red chilly powder is meant for the sole purpose of burning your ass next day.
The amount of chillies that they added in meat is less than the real amount of chillies as in the same amount of meant we used to take about 5-6 times more than that the amount which is used in this meat recipe and rajasthan is known for it's super spicy food
LOL what are u saying? have you ever tasted red chilli powder? go to ur kitchen and have a spoon full of red chilli powder! Then you will know hahahaha

Just so you know spice doent mean it's always hot. There are 2 types of spices. Flavour spice like cardamom, turmeric, cloves etc and there are hot spices like chillies, pepper pods etc. What they made was marinade which is not that hot. It's got a touch of spice but alot of flavour
Rajasthani cuisine is one type of Indian food. You can watch other cuisine like kashmiri cuisine, Bengal cuisine, Gujarati cuisine there are many. In this way you can get an idea of how diverse Indian food. There are so many spices with different ingredients which makes our food tasty and so very special.
its hard to please people anywhere in the world. we need to understand and put ourselves in their place so that we can understand their feeling when they see something different. i love what you create and keep it up Rachel for your Garlic Nun journey. while looking down for comments, i saw some people trying to impose their views. honesty is the best policy is universal, trinity not liking gulab jamun is not a big deal, how would we react if we do something for the first. we need to understand the differences between the cultures, and geek-a-musing family's attempt to ring a chord of unity while living thousands of miles away, but a mind to explore our culture. so dont impose, rather tell them and look through their eyes how they perceive our things and it will give us a broader narrative. Thank you for wonderful journeys that you people have taken through. and yes dont think all are same, we still live here, and watch your videos daily. To my fellow watchers, dont try to teach in comments on the video, if you have enough time , drive off another cliff and die. Watch, live and laugh. Dong....

There is one more video by Best Ever Food Review Show with same group "OverLander" it is called "TRADITIONAL DAL BAATI Cooked for 50 School Kids! Unique DESERT Food in Rajasthan" It is traditional food from Rajasthan and cooked in the unique traditional manner I say unique because I don't think anywhere in the world. This kind of cooking exists except India
Rachel, just in case you want to try the food which was not in ground do not worry. The spices look fiery but they are okay in taste. They will give a bright red color but the chillies are not so hot. I know that what is not so hot would be for you but still I am considering that fact and saying. Try it once. Those chillies are a bit dried and in the process they lose their hotness a bit. Also, the part where Tri said you have the Garam masala would be from Indian stores I guess but the one they showed here is how we make in home and makes the food taste good million times.
Rachel pro tip here... What you do is make the food as spicy as possible for the person who can take it and then the rest just have curds along with it for those who cant eat spicy, curd reduces the spice level. So everyone can enjoy the same food instead of cooking for every palate
Well, the sauce Trinity mentions is actually marinade but I guess after the cooking, it gets mixed with other liquid stuff from the meat and could be called sauce!
First of all there are a various types of chillies in India and also the 🌶 powder like kashmiri, degi etc so the spice level depends on the heat by the chilly. Another thing is when ghee is added on and that much ghee is added then the heat of the chilly comes down n you get more of a flavour
Rachel any dairy fat like ghee or butter or even yoghurt does cut the heat from chillies. So does lemon/lime juice or vinegar- anything sour. The dish still retains the flavour but the heat reduces by a lot. Having said that- even I was skeptical about the quantity of chilly used - both whole and powdered. Maybe the quantity of meat they cooked was much more than what I'm accustomed to.
Yes,now its hard to stay calm-This is not fair, seeing this yummy 🤤yummy food, we are craving more for this..Its lockdown+ no street food+ no restaurant food, life is=🥴🥺.. Hope this virus goes ✌off soon..
that's a beautiful family!!! u put a pinch of red pepper in a soup bowl u wont be able to eat it, u put 2 spoonful while cooking, u wont feel it's too spicey, and u put a bowl full on a chicken and marinade it, and then fry or cook it you wont feel the burn ....cz its normal spicey. So no matter how much red pepper u put on meat to marinade it, specially if u put vinegar or curd and leave it for some time, later it wud just make the meat tender and u wont feel the heat unless u add extra red powder on the gravy later.

I am good at giving free advice so here's one for rachel.. It doesn't matter how you dress or how much you makeup or carry the accessories until and unless you are unfit or fat. You wanna look gorgeous, it starts with a daily exercise routine. I am not saying thin but not fat for sure. If you are fit and fine than you'll look beautiful automatically. So I guess we all should rather try and achive the basic and organic way than artificial way. Cheers!
Rachel needs to understand that not all chillies have the same spice level. And when you cook chillies in oil or ghee, it dilutes the power of chillies. If it was too hot, the host would've shown some expression. I'm sure the food was delicious and not too hot (spicy).
Rachel theory is actually wrong. Butter neutralizes the heat. That's why they added so much butter
