To this day, I want to know what the creator and writers were smoking when they thought it was a good idea to pair a high schooler with a teacher. Have we not learned anything after the Mary Kay Letourneau case? The only show I can think of that doesn't glamorize the student-teacher groomship is Blood and Water. In that show, the teacher does get fired and the main character has to go to therapy in addition to more trauma she's put through.
Agreed, as well as "A Teacher", which shows how badly the student is affected with having been groomed by his teacher, though she seems to get off comparatively lighter, being able to remarry and start a family.

The first season of anthology series, "Cruel Summer", also used grooming as part of the premise, as it deals with a popular teenage girl being groomed and kidnapped by her school's vice principal, while a nerdy outlier takes her place.
I’m between Ezra and Nate, he is after all a r@pist. Putting Dean at number one makes no sense, he is an arsehole and a cheater but he is not violent or predatory like Spike and Nate or a literal child molster like Ezra.
Currently rewatching PLL and I can’t stand watching Aria and Ezra scenes now as an adult. And I always hated how her parents just all of a sudden are okay with them dating and eventually marrying. There were multiple times for him to be exposed and arrested.
I’m surprised you mentioned Drew without mentioning he dated his DEAD brother’s girlfriend!! That was too much for me lol But him and Bianca are adorable, should’ve been endgame

I definitely liked angel and Buffy together. But I was also super surprised and very happy with what they did with spike’s character. (Not the abuse thing tho, I wish that never happened). But he was one of the most funniest characters on the show and I love him lol. Also really liked how much he cared for Buffy and dawn. He did so much for her even when he didn’t have his soul, and angel never did. But I really did not like Riley. I didn’t like how he was with the jealousy of her being stronger than him and he was also a very bland boring character.
Ezra was by far number one material. Everyone is talking about him and Aria, let’s not forget Alison was first. Dude’s a predator and he should have been in jail.
That's how I see it in real life I would never condone a teacher and student relationship especially when it's illegal and one is a minor but what I like about Aria and Ezra is it plays on the whole society sees what it wants to seize and Society is not always correct
I do too! I hate that people complain about them so much when they’re close in age in real life but they don’t complain about who Ali (Sasha ) is with when in real life she was 12 when the show started & was underage when being with anyone on the show.
I just binged watched Gossip Girl for the first time. And I loved Chuck. Yea he was kinda a dick and a player but by season 5-6 he was changed and grown up a lot. I liked him a whole lot more than Dan if I’m being honest. And Nate was always a good guy (most of the time anyways)
When I started watching You, I had a very strong notion of what Dan would grow up like. As if You was the actual sequel of GG, and this is really Dan, who dropped out of collage to open up his book store 😂
So I'm going to have to go against this because the only reason I watched Buffy the vampire Slayer was because of Spike. I watched Angel before I watched Buffy and I love this character so much in angel that I went back and gave Buffy a chance after I stopped watching because I didn't like the first season. Personally I would argue that Buffy is the problem in the relationship but that more has to do with the fact that I don't think Buffy at that time could be in a relationship and she truly did not love him by the end of the series. Heck even said it and still thank her for lying to him.

Heard spike's actor hated the assault scene so much that he wishes to never do scenes like that ever again. It messed him up
