A great company raising the bar in this important area.
I did get thinking though when seeing a motocross race team having seats with a couple super comfortable spots on their seats but creating significant areas (dead zones) on the seat which become off-limits for positioning weight.
When slight shifts in weight are needed, it looked like the seats with the bigger waves prevented the subtle positioning and weight shifts required on the bike when racing SX/MX.
I also perceive that some of these seats (with the bigger waves) will ultimately weaken core strength since I have to believe you can relax some when snuggled down into the "gullies".
Just observations made from our industry's only true Rip-Van Whinkle seeing that I was fully immersed in the sport during the 70s and then went from 1980 to 2016 ignoring it altogether and finally getting over my infantile pouting due to a dream that never materialized.
So, I hear kids today repeating folklore that is just patently false about things like "RC ruined the sport with intensive training, etc." Just plain wrong... But I will admit the sport has improved in many ways though I perceive many of these "improvements" have accumulated into a perfect storm that is more meat grinder than a sport.
I'm still glad that I'm back and grateful for Ping and his love and appreciation for every generation of these brutal, frustrating, impossible, thrilling, sports.
I am also very appreciative that David abandoned the handlebar mustache... reminded me of this generation's equivalency of the mullet.

As with most things as you get older. You don't care as much about looks as you do comfort.
