If I wouldn't go, it's because things that I now find fun would become my obligation, something I have to study and be graded for.
I remember when the trio considered places precious enough to Tom Riddle to hide Horcruxes there, Harry suggested Hogwarts and Ron said in pure disbelief 'Come on, that was his SCHOOL'. See, for someone who never had access to magic, like us, it's glorious, but to someone who has magic in everyday life it's as tedious as our schools are for us.

Hogwarts is as it should be !! A magical world and School isnt the same as the mundane world !!
There is no place safer at earth except Hogwarts but students, remember, that here, first year students are sent off to forests where werewolves and other beasts are there. A huge serpent kills muggle borns. Dementors enter and leave and can kill you. Dragons are let loose here and there. Dangerous and stupid teachers teach you the most important subject (DADA, except Lupin ofc), Death Eaters anytime enters and leaves the castle and the list goes onn... Plus, no matter which house you are, every year, Gryffindor must win and exams somehow will get cancelled

3 More Reasons:
1: Former Azkaban prisoners / or escapees are easily able to get into Hogwarts with little to no repercussions.
2: The Whomping Willow shouldn't have been on Hogwarts grounds due its reputation for swinging branches & potentially harming others.
3: The Ministry & Hogwarts professors are ok with students putting their lives in danger for the Goblet Of Fire
2: the tree was supposed to be a safe gruad an enterance to a broken down for Lupin to be a wolf , but they could thought of a safer means. Then again, life danger usually keep smart people at bay.
3: that more of government issue resume the tournament in the place.
