I would love to have her as a professor! My favorite line of hers was in Order of the Phoenix, where Umbridge was listening in on Harry's career advice with McGonagall. After Umbridge mentions Harry's failings in her Defense classes, McGonagall says this:
“He has achieved high marks in all Defense Against the Dark Arts tests set by a COMPETENT teacher."
Also, McGonagall's sass during the Quidditch commentaries (Book 3, ESPECIALLY) was amazing ("JORDAN! ARE YOU BEING PAID TO ADVERTISE FIREBOLTS? GET ON WITH THE COMMENTARY!")

Yes, I like how in the books, she has to monitor Lee's pro-Gryffindor commentary during the games as not to show favoritism. She also regrets allowing Luna Lovegood to fill in as announcer one game. Luna has an, uh, unusual take on Quidditch commentary 😂.
@@klina7645 There was also a Quidditch Match in Prisoner of Azkaban when Slytherin and Gryffindor were battling for the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup, which Slytherin won for many years prior to Harry's arrival.
In that Match, Minerva tried to be composed and unbiased as possible but as the Slytherin were committing fouls one after another in order to prevent the Gryffindor from winning, Minerva lost her composure when Malfoy deliberately fouled Potter from catching the Snitch. She practically joined her Gryffindor students in shouting their outrage at the Slytherin team
Gryffindor won of course, which was euphoric because Malfoy and the Slytherins were being total POS throughout the book.

My favorite McGonagall moment isn't in the movies. After Harry gets the better of Umbridge in book 5, she knows she can't outwardly congratulate him, but she also doesn't want to scold him, so she simply says, "Have a biscuit, Potter." Being a teacher myself, McGonagall offering Harry a cookie after technically being insubordinate is a hilarious moment.
