I tried this Friday night and it was so good my mom demanded I make it again for Sunday. It is now 01:37am and I am up making these rotis now as part of Sunday lunch! Thank you so much for this excellent recipe!! ♥️
Wow, I’m happy your family is enjoying the rotis you making 🥰
You don't have to put oil on top of the roti for it to remain soft the day after?
@@ramdintahreemah6506 no you don't.
Thank you very much for this recipe. First the very first time, after many attempts, my roti has come out soft. (Though I did need to add a little extra oil and water. ) Thank you very much for sharing.

Take care love from South Africa.
Hi it’s one of Rotis we make in South Africa. The more popular Roti is the fluffy one. 😊
Thanks, made it, just used a little less water because it was too sticky.
So, i made this today. My 1st attempt at this stunning recipe. A little too much for 4 pax, but im putting the rest in the freezer and I hope it freeze well. It is indeed the best roti i had. I added a little more oil though...
Thanks for the feedback. It should freeze well. Just defrost and reheat 😊
You can also half the recipe to 2cups flour.

Just wanted to know if the roti can be made with selfvraing flour?
Self raising flour? Can it be used instead of plain flour?
May I ask what the dish is that you served with the Roti? Thank you!
Can we PLS hav this mince and peas/ potato Curry recipe?
@@adammoosa7846 Search for aloo-matar sabji on youtube. U will find loads of them.
You can with any meat, vegetable or lentil curries. Loads of recipes on RUclips 😊
Madam is it Maida
Yes
Hi it's cake flour. Very refined flour ,generally used for cakes .We also use in roti and puri.
Quite a disaster for me! Your recipe says boiling water which I used and ended up with playdough. Lol. Note Hot water and boiling water are completely different. I suggest you amend the recipe for people who are not familiar with the dish.
