Good afternoon, we just love roti!! But, I always have to hunt when I go shopping and they are not always available, now, with your recipe we can cook our own. It looks very easy, it cannot flop, so I will be looking forward to this cooking venture. I love your crispy/flaky dough, and it cooked so lovely. A treat to eat. Thank you for sharing and showing. Fatima, re the recipe, I presume after making the 'snail' dough, I just roll them out into a circle or a shape fitting the pan I am using. This will be my first try, I do not wish to waste it. Thanks.
My dough ended up falling apart after I put it in the fridge for 30 minutes? Do you think I might not have kneaded it enough to produce the gluten to stick together? They were sticking to the corner after I rolled them. I got them in but they were not thin enough and doughy. What do you think?

Definitely part of the recipe. If you don't clap it it may become stiff and hard. Clapping it loosens it up...
