G2★ Barroth Vs. Aerial Switch Axe - スラアク スラアク ソロ【MHXX】

Eh not the best run, I got hit a lot, but still a funny run.
Also, you'll see, whenever I play Aerial Switch Axe, my brain kind of locks into "you can ONLY use Aerial Attacks!" so sometimes you'll see me awkwardly stand still and not use my main moveset, which is funny since I do know how to use SA outside of jumps since I play Striker.
Barroth is such an entertaining monster before World, this game really destroyed him. It muted its colors, made it so much slower and pathetic, removed its iconic roar and much less frightening overall.
But in 3rd gen and here in 4th gen Barroth is at its peak glory, a really fun monster that can genuinely turn frightening when you fight its Hyper version. Barroth is the fastest and most agile Brute Wyvern in the series, they are typically slow and very large monsters, and I heard a lot of people do not like the species in general ; but Barroth is a unique case with its size and speed.
I really like this monster and I hope it will come back in better shape in the future. Rise and Sunbreak did not alleviate the beginning of its destruction from World, so I hold hope that Barroth will shine again in Wilds.

i really hope they do bring back this kind of agressiveness for him in wilds if he is there. I think too many monsters especially in world but also in rise before master rank are just relegated to not really being more than punching bags after awhile

​@@lonradbhe still track your ass even better, but not as fast, his speed is considerably slower in new gen. His mud are worthless in both gen.
Honestly he's a joke in any game, its not like his charge is hard to dodge in old gen anyway, even when he's enraged you can just walk away easily.

Aerial SA isn't that bad, yeah.
Only aerial bow is objectively terrible and the worst weapon style in GU, probably even worse than prowler when it comes to dps, at least prowler have some actually good abilities despite their shit dps.
