NYCT || Bayonne Bound 2019 Novabus LFS Diesel

For today's full ride, I decided to do something different and head towards the one New York City borough barely anyone associates with, which is Staten Island. For awhile I wanted to do a full ride on a Staten Island route but I didn't know which routes to choose. The two routes that came to mind for Staten Island were the +S79 SBS+ and the S89 LIMITED, and after thinking about it for a while, I decided to go with the S89. The S89 is special for the reason being that it's the only bus route within New York City to not only stop in New Jersey but terminate in New Jersey, which is off New York State boundaries. While some of the Staten Island-Manhattan Express routes go through New Jersey, they don't stop over there and head straight through it to make their way to Staten Island
This route single handedly became one of my top five favorites throughout all of New York City for a couple of reasons. The route itself is fast, you'd be able to get from Eltingville to Bayonne in 40-50 minutes with this route, and while only being a midday rush hour route, this route is helpful for if your trying to head to New Jersey from Staten Island. The route also connects with both the Eltingville Transit Center but also the Staten Island Mall in New Springville, Staten Island, which brings in decent amount of customers each day.
