If the origin manga were to be fully adapted into a series, then I guess it would attract new Gundam fans as well as Universal Century ones. I just feel sceptical with changing the story from a classic.

One of the best Gundam posing photos I've ever seen was on twitter based on some piece of art where it looks like it's kneeling on top of a hill and the camera has some barrel distortion to it, so for the model the guy replaced the leg with something from a larger scale model for the effect and it was awesome. But weird from the wrong angles. No clue which terms to search for in hunting it down again but it may have been from one of those gunpla meetups in east-asia.
I found another favorite new reviewer! It’s very rare to see a gunpla reviewer that does a full airbrush paint (Henry used to do it, but no one has filled the void). I hope you do more!

I've rewatched this a few times, and I have already a ton of HG and 4 RG kits under my belt but your video made me decide to make this kit my first MG. Keep up the amazing work man I love both your channels.
Pro tip: If you're getting those LED units, best to get those 3rd party versions that uses magnets to light up. That way, you dont have to constantly remove the head and backpack just to switch it on and off

I also noticed on instagram you have alclad paint, so you're settled for the metallics I reckon :) I dug myself in modelbuilding and painting stuff lately again; such as garage kits, tamiya stuff and fantasy models, also some mechs. Best thing ever to keep a bit sane in this crazy world, but most importantly enjoying it and having fun. Your channels contribute a lot to that. Thank you for that, keep it coming and enjoy your hobbies .

ItsAGunpla I didn’t have the tools needed. Once I was in I said fuck it! I used some Walmart Nippers 7 dollar cheap ones. No tweezers (used a small metal scraper). Can’t read Japanese so when it came time to place a sticker I didn’t get it till mid way and had to go back and undo parts to place stickers.took me about 16 hrs to build it and I haven’t place the decals because I have shaky hands(years of jerkin my Gerkin).

I’ve just started this hobby after watching your videos here and on your main channel and I agree with the “set it and forget it” mentality. Especially after I put a real grade rx-78-2 together. That thing is like holding a primed grenade when posing it.
I wish you could still buy the old Gundam action figures. They were higher quality than these model kits seems to be and you ain't gotta build nothin'. Just paint 'em
I make my own effect parts with hot glue rods, the big ones are the easiest to form, I boil them and form them , then I do the rest with my hobby knife , then paint them

This is definitely a great release. Even though I'm not a fan of UC, I have to say that for fans this, the MG 3.0, the RG, HG Revive, or the PG is the best one to go with the classic Gundam.

I love the look of the 3.0 more but I love the Origin's weapons more. Especially that shoulder cannon.

My first master grade was OZ-13MS Gundam Eypon and I broke the hand but finished it
Only issue with origin is it doesn’t fit in with the og timeline it changes things like fate/zero but it’s still good

You can make your own effect parts with hot glue and/or melted plastic off the clear runners.
If I did I's sculpt them then mold them, the cast them in clear resin A future project I have in mind.
